Architects have designed an amazing 65-storey 'Earth-Scraper' which descends 300 metres below ground. The stunning “upside down pyramid” in the
middle of Mexico City is designed to circumvent height limits on new buildings in the capital. The subterranean building will have 35 storeys for
offices, 10 storeys for homes as well as shops and a museum.
Sorry about the pics. I think this is pretty cool. What does ATS think?
Lol Genius! Lets build an underground tomb in a 1:supposedly sinking city and 2: in a heavy seismic zone. Yeah that's smart. I'll take my chances
above ground I don't need my claustrophobia intensifying with thoughts of an Mega Quake burying me alive. Death Trap waiting to happen especially in
It would be a good concept for non seismic zones for if above ground becomes inhospitable but not under present conditions. Still cool though with
things they come up with these days

Aha thank you! (None of the images are showing on here now)...Amazing photos, amazing structure! I wonder, what would happen in an earthquake....I
know that is a pessimistic comment, but it just sprang into my mind...!!
