A great collection you posted, thank you for sharing. I am very fascinated by weather, and clouds are by far the most interesting aspect of the skies. S&F

Awesome pictures and videos.

I am a total cloud fanatic. I feel towards clouds the way Ron Swanson feels towards breakfast foods.

Amazing, just amazing.

I am a weather nerd. I love weather. All kinds.

This pic was taken by me near Chamberlain, SD in 2005. This shelf cloud was the leading edge of a big line of thunderstorms. The thunderstorms started out as individual supercells which converged into a massive line of thunderstorms. We were trying to keep ahead of it driving east on Interstate 90. It finally caught up to us. Wow.

I was trying to upload a bigger picture of this but for some reason all that posts is this small version.

This next picture was taken near North Platte, NE in 2006 I think. This is one side a giant supercell. My camera was not that good so the picture doesn't do it justice. You can see the shelf cloud at the edge.

I have many more of these types of pics. I'm having some trouble uploading them.

Love all the other ones in this thread!!

I actually seen this in person one day. It was REALLY amazing. I wanted to watch it dissipate and it did in like an hour. It seemed to get bigger after a while then break apart.

It was funny too, because I seen it like a week after a crazy thread was made saying something about the strange cloud. I was like, "Wow! something on ATS that I can actually see with my own EYES!"

Very nice and beautiful pictures! For 13-15 years back I saw also a rolling cloud, it was in summerat sea, near Domburg, The Netherlands .

It was a nice summer day, about 11 in the morning, it rolled from the sea pretty fast. After it passed by the weather changed a lot, it became stormy and rainy.... in like just 10 mins! From blue sky to cloudy/rainy sky with a temperature drop.

It felt scary seeing the cloud roll over you, but it was a beautiful natural experience i never forget.

Unfort. i don't have any pics. because in those days we didn't had a digital cam or phone with camera's on it.
