Solid choices! Some of those I've never heard of, but I remember the Pumpking being extremely tasty. Are any of those like the Cigar City local or distributed nationally? I'm in the Chicago area, but I can custom order through my friend's store.

Nice. I'm going to look into some of those in the near future.

I see you like IPAs. Have you tried Lagunitas Hop Stoopid?

Squatters Hops Rising
Brother David's Triple
Wasatch White
Wasatch Hefeweisen (I'm a big fan of the wit)
Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout
Uinta 5th Anniversary Barleywine

The thing about the state I live in is that all liquor and beer above 3.2 ABW has to be sold in a state run liquor store, we also have a bunch of other crazy liquor laws - so I have limited access to a lot of great craft beers from around the country. Our local breweries are great though, and to promote local business alcohol sales laws are less strict for local breweries.

I homebrew too, so I drink more of my own that stuff purchased at the store.

Drinking Newcastle from DraughtKeg right now, but the best i've had is Rochefort 10 with Delirium Tremens in 2nd.

I want to stress how good the Rochefort is. If you haven't tried it, please do.

When people talk about "craft" beers, they usually (but not always) are referring to microbrews. A microbrewery is any brewery that makes less than six million barrels a year (in America, I think) and can't be more than a quarter owned by a non-beer company.

Ahhh Craft beers.

I'm in Southern California and lets face it, we brew some of the best craft beers in the country. Here's my list of favorites in no particular order.

Retribution Imperial IPA
Big Daddy Double Daddy IPA
Stone Double Bastard
Anderson Valley Imperial IPA
Racer 5
Sierra Nevada Ruthless RYE IPA.
Revolution XPA

There's plenty more out there

Anderson Valley is all great stuff. I don't think I've had an Anderson Valley beer I didn't love.

I live like 20 minutes from the victory brewery. I personally couldn't stand the golden monkey. It's not for everyone I suppose

I had nearly forgotten about this thread until another thread about the supposed White House Honey Ale reminded me.

So, here are a few more I would recommend:

Two Brothers White Ale
Slumbrew Happy Sol - AWESOME summertime beer!
Three Floyds Brian Boru
Luna Coffee Stout

Dogfish Head 90 Minute
Bell's Expedition Stout
Founder's Breakfast Stout
Lost Rhino Icebreaker
Epic Sour Apple Saison
Green Flash Le Freak

I could keep going but I'll stop at six.
