Welcome to ATS, it’s time to introduce yourself.

I'm sure you'll understand the necessity for us having rules like this. It helps keep all the great threads and topics in their perspective areas of interest and not all lumped together, making it difficult to find when wanting to make additional comments.

With that said, I'm going to have to close this thread as it does not comply with the above stated rules. Since you do have the required 20 posts, you can make up a thread of your own in it's proper area.

I find your question very interesting. I for one already have a personal arsenal and lots o ammo, but I think they would. I also think it would take time, as we (meaning the us people that intend to resist) have to get together and communicate and organize and what not.

Just make sure your prepared, and if possible have land to grow food....cuz this is gonna be a long drawn out deal when it collapses.

Its sorta about all 3 imo. I think we would as a resistance force receive aid from outside the US at some point... But you need to be prepared UNTIL they do, of IF they do. I personally am prepared to survive fairly comfortably for 2 years thanks to crop land. It all ties in really. Who win determines what happens government wise.

Don't be fooled by the maufactured rebelion of Libya. NATO and its fellow war mongers may be, oh so eager, to topple a foreign government but Russia and China may be slightly hesistant due to the repercussions assosiated with back-stabbing one of the strongest armies in the world.

Fact is, you can't rely on foreign powers aiding your resistance, so thank your lucky stars you still (sort of) have your guns in america, in Britain, if it kicks off, we only have slingshots and wooden swords to play with!

If other states seperate and fight against the feds you may be looking at an all out civil war, in wich case you may consider picking a side as they will probably kit you out with weapons anyway.

Either way, the future may be pretty bleak.

Here's a few thoughts before getting onto any one of the 1000's of topical rides at Above Top Secret, also known as ATS, the world's largest Civil & Unique Discussion Community.

*** Please be sure to be at least this tall to get on any of the rides, (Johnny stretches his arm outward), and act like an 'civil' adult. This will save you a lot of future stress, frustration and possible action by one of your friendly neighborhood Mods!

*** Please remember that some members are very passionate and vocal depending on what ride your all on. You should be mentally fit, stable and have a strong stomach for theories, conjecture, research and evidence presented that may be contrary to your own.

*** Please be "open-minded" enough to understand that sometimes the ride isn't always what you might think or expect. Be aware you also might end up learning something new and 'out-of-the-box' before you get off the ride.

*** Please note that at times the ride gets overly-heated and "it's strongly suggested" to get off the ride to regroup one's thoughts before continuing. This will also help guarantee that the ride will move forward without getting derailed or explode into a fiery trashbin.

*** Please have fun! Be aware if you act in an uncivil-like manner, use profanity, intentionally spread a hoax and/or get verbally abusive, you will be removed off the ride by a Moderator. This is for your safety, & also for those both young and old on the ride with you.
