Sky news reports "a bright light over uk tonight was beleived to be a meteorite" according to the met office.

I tryed to search for news and link but didnt have one so expect 1 to be available soon. I thought id give the heads up so people can stalk skynews website.

So much for a warning or heads up. Im sure this is nothing more than a way of getting people to search them so people can find out for themselves about next feb possisbly?

edit - sorry i didnt see there is another thread regarding this..

if you see a crater in the ground with a rock in the center, see if a magnet sticks to it. Magnets stick to most meteors due to iron in them
