Teresa: My Critics Are 'Scumbags'

Hot-tempered would-be first lady Teresa Heinz Kerry has once again lashed out at her critics, this time during a Pittsburgh television interview where she called them "scumbags."

The ugly outburst, revealed nationally for the first time in a lengthy profile in the Sept. 27 issue of the New Yorker magazine, is the most outrageous so far by the billionaire ketchup heiress, and pushes the bounds of behavior voters might accept in a first lady.

The New Yorker's Judith Thurman chronicled some of Heinz Kerry more well-known verbal gaffes before noting the videotaped vulgarity:
"She dismissed voters skeptical of her husbands health-care proposals as 'idiots,' and, in a television interview with a Pittsburgh anchorwoman, employed the word 'scumbags' to describe some of her detractors," Thurman said.

"There are these bizarre moments that make you shudder," one Kerry adviser told Thurman. "Like calling herself African-American to black audiences."

I was. I takes me two times to get everything on one page.
I'm not computer smart. First I put the link. Then I go to the
link and copy and paste a few paragraphs back. I haven't
figured out how to do it all at once yet.

Newsmax is right leaning. But their report of this is accurate.
I know the lefties here don't like Newsmax. But ... what they
are saying that she said is true.

From the way the news reports on her, you'd think Te-RE-sa was running for president.

Kerry, for the sake of all of us, just tell her to SHUT UP.

So what if Teresa is a bit hot-headed? I think its great actually.

I'd rather have her as the First Lady telling John exactly what she thinks than have Laura "Stepford Wife" Bush smiling and baking cookies and administering the laura bush school of motoring.

"Scumbags" huh?
This coming from the same lady that proclaimed and decreed that anyone that didn't agree with her husband on a national health plan was an idiot?!?

Puuleeeze, Turezzzzaaa dear? Sticks and stones will break my bones but be sure that the words coming from Thy mouth will never hurt me, k?
Woman needs her mouth washed out with soap.....What? Those billions allow 'you' to get away with saying such crap? Deary......not when your hubby is running for President!

Personally I think America needs a President who doesn't have his cajones in his wife's handbag. Laura Bush is not ambitious, she just stands by her family - huge crime I know. But when you elect a President its good to know that he is driving the car and not being navigated from the back seat.

Thanks, but plenty of people are quick to jump on Tess.

Although, after seeing her at the RNC I'm actually convinced that she is a Stepford wife, theres an unnerving picture where she's standing with this manic look viewing "her people".

Actually I am just as opinonated and guess what you take me or leave it.

I like Terry and I hope she brings back women voices back from the third class citizens that this administration has us now.

Women now cannot even get prescription birth control pills, but then if they get pregnant abortion is illegal.

I wonder if bush is going to claim paternity to all those unwanted babies.
Ho I get it bush god is going to provide for them.

What a joke.

Seems apparent to me marg that the U.S. welfare system has been 'providing' for such for quite sometime....interesting that you would blame a current President and not blame others? Odd....

No marg, Tureeezzaaa needs to control her lips before they get her Jaybird arse into serious trouble with the American public, but hey...thats's chance at obtaining right, it won't affect her or you, but Kerrys ability to get votes....no biggie right? He is seemingly having difficulty getting those anyhow.....

I know that Terry Kerry appeals to a few folks. But that's the key
phrase here - A FEW. Most folks see her as a liability to John Kerry.
I prefer Laura Bush. I think she is smart and charming. Laura
and Terry are exact opposites, in my opinion.

I do have a question that is way off the topic - who uses the most Botox? John Kerry, Teresa kerry or Laura Bush... I think the expressions we see on all their faces reflects Botox nothing else. ever see the episode of "Will and Grace", where Will has Botox injections and Grace can't tell if he is happy or sad? When 40% of the face is paralized its difficult to establish what they mean. Another interesting point is anybody ever try googling images Of Teresa Kerry - it truly is strike a pose time every time - "VOGUE".

So Tipper Gore was useless because she never said anything, and Teresa is useless because she talks too much?

Karl Rove is a genius. So was Himmler.

Wow. This is news to me. Someone correct me if I'm wrong ...

As far as I know, every woman in this country has access to
birth control if she wants it. I know that health clinics that
cater to the citizens of lesser income provide those implants
(called Norplant or something like that?). Those are good for
five months. I think tax payer money subsidizes them too.
(Not sure of that, I read it somewhere, but can't remember where).

Birth control is NOT provided for at Catholic hospitals. John Kerry,
who pretends to be Catholic, wants to change that. He wants
to force Catholic hospitals to provide birth control which is against
the Catholic religion. Even though Birth Control is
not provided at Catholic hospitals, women still have many other
avenues in which to obtain it if they wish ... like from their
family doctor.

Where is abortion illegal? I wish it were illegal except in cases
to save a womans life. But where it is it illegal in America?

Well geez, who exactly is running for President here, Turreeeeza or John?
If you say John, then you are aware that having a wife who does not know verbal moderation when speaking publically, could be detrimental to said campaign efforts?

Actually, I liked Tipper. I liked her better than her hubby.
She is well educated and could run in politics on her own,
and not ride her husbands coat tails. She was VERY
vocal about issues that concerned her - such as lyrics
in records - and she was well spoken when she discussed
the issues. She was well spoken when she was in front
of the camera and when off camera as well.

Southern charm with a good education and class.

(Snappy dresser too)

Well you have not being in the south lately we have lots of children in poverty and in the care of the state.

Looks to me like welfare is not working for them, and do you have seen anything in bush agenda since he became president that has done anything for those poor children?

Actually I forgot he gave us a tax cut, hummm what was for it? I cannot remember.

Actually we have more children in living in poverty that before he was president.

Do you then agree that women should be denied pills to control birth in this country?

2.5 million children live in poverty in rural America.

How takes care of them?

www.savethechildren.org...

Sorry for getting of the subject.

Seekerof is sad but is true.

John reprimands her later, by turning her upside down, and smacking her
bottom repeatedly..It's a family thing

Seriously, keep talking Terry, The Bush Campaign could save millions!
