This is one of the reasons I don't watch TV. I really think it's sad kids get this in their face. If this is where it's at, no wonder being a "virgin" is bad, girl's try to look hot instead of pretty and everybody's getting horny. Hardee's and Carl's Jr. knows sex sells, but this soft porn commercial isn't for kids.

I didn't have a problem with the Paris Hilton ad. So don't think I'm just a prude.

Funny thing, I was just at Hardee's earlier this week with my son (before I saw this) he ate a Southwest Patty Melt and said it wasn't very good. I aint going back.

I just showed this to my 21 year old son to get his impression. He said he already saw it. I asked him was he thought about it he said it gave him half a chub and said "I'm coming to get you b#tch."

What the bleedin' hell is a chub, if you don't mind my asking?

Also, I think they were advertising Kate Upton and the sandwich just made a cameo.

Oh my God! Did you see that burger though? I'd love to get my hands on one of them.

Don't try to harness human artistic expression. And that's all this is. Don't like you kids watching stuff like this? so be it, its your call, but just because you don't doesn't mean anyone else doesn't. She is a beautiful woman with a beautiful burger. They go together quite well.

Please, be responsible for your own censorship not mine. There is not a single thing wrong with beauty.

WoW

Next thing you know someone will be trying to sue Hardee's for getting their kid pregnant...

Sex sells... that's life and business. Don't like it turn the channel...

Soft Porn? Really? Did I read that right? I see worse stuff on these damn soap operas...

Glad those are gone, or going

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I don't think the burger would look so great if they showed it propped on the naked belly of some grossly obese dude. You can call it art. It is definitely an art form that sells hamburgers.

Thanks for your thoughts

My son corrected me. Apparently, the definition of soft porn has changed in the last 20 years.

I thought Paris washing her car while eating a burger was silly, Kate getting turned on by her drive-in date, a hamburger, makes me feel like

Like I said beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Would some handsome, ripped guy getting orgasmic with his burger seem cool?

Sorry gotta go make love to my bean soup.

We are all responsible for our own censorship. That's why we have eyelids. Don't like what you see? close'm. I would find that really funny if they had the burger on a fat guy, which is probably close to the truth for many people who would eat these.

However, the writer was focusing on the "hotness" of the product and used the personification of Kate Upton of being hot to convey it. I think it worked, but that is my own opinion. I can also respect your opinion in that you feel different. That's what makes this fishbowl an awesome place.

I'll make a promise to not get offended if you don't agree with me though, and hope you'd do the same for me :-)

Who wouldn't go to Hardee's to see some female anatomy? I would...

What they need to do is start selling beer. That'll clinch the deal.

I thought it looked very tasty... spicy... loved the steamed buns...mouthwatering.... would like to eat one.

Oh, the sandwich looked good too.

You bet.

I guess I have this Mom thing. Even though my kids are adults, I know that plenty of 6,7,8...year olds will see this and all the other stuff on the tube that would make me want to throw a rock at the screen. You can say, it's not my business, it's not my problem yet I know many adults are too busy with their lives to sit down and watch TV with their kids. TV is a convenient babysitter, but a very poor teacher when it comes to morality and values. The media's manipulation of the masses defines societal norms. I know this is nothing new. I just think the world would be a better place without TV.

Ah, so we have found the real problem in that people actually watch TV. I turned away from TV long ago, and completely understand your issue. Its like leaving an adult magazine laying a round and children get their hands on it. Is it the fault of the company printing the magazine that the children found it? or the parents fault for bringing it into the home and not protecting it from uneducated eyes?

TV is a society problem but most don't even realize it. Being of the minority who do, all we can do is hope that more people realize this and move away from it.

Cheers!
