Call Of Apathy:Violent Young Men and Our Place in War (A Must Read)

Why would you sacrifice your own combat assets on some stupid logic like letting an inexperienced guy die because you don't care?
"Point" is a very crucial position in a patrol squad, you don't want to die by following a kid into an ambush.
Badges don't stop bullets,ask anyone who wears any badge anywhere.
Sociopaths make lousy warriors because they lack apathy to predict enemy behavior.Crazy people also don't follow orders well.I'm a pretty angry guy but I'm no sociopath,I cry all the time...in private.
I do believe this individual would be an interesting candidate to meet a former SEAL for vetting.
But then again I am just a former scout,I know recon not elite.
