Does anyone have a screenshot of the low bandwith version you can activate? At current, loading a page on ATS takes 10+ seconds on a slow machine, because its filled up with non-usefull pictures.. Very unproffesional and bloated.
But I would still like to see users pictures and such, but not all the bloat 'around' the forum threads...

The avatars are the bandwidth killers

You might want to try using Opera and using the 'cached images only' function. Makes it all much faster.

You're the first to complain about the performance of supporting images. The site and supporting images are hosted on two separate dedicated servers for maximum performance. In any event, the board menu is reasonably useful.

Well... Blame the avatars then..

Anyway, Id still like a screenshot of the low bandwith version. Does anyone use it?

Its basically what you see when you browse threads while not logged in.

Its only 50 points to turn off and on, live a little!

AKA no one uses it...

I mean...hey...the fun level is decreased from ATS without all the kick ass avatars! I love the "recent" switch to MPFS by the way, Kano!!
