The real problem in my mind is that the weather is FREEZING and below tonight in ALL the affected areas, so those without power and damage are in a world of hurt.

18 fatalities reported so far from storms in Indiana and Kentucky according to the weather channel.

This from Atlanta

Jonathan Erdman (Meteorologist): TWC Sr. Radio Met. Nick Wiltgen reporting seeing 5-6 power flashes from Midtown Atlanta high-rise looking north. Potential indication of tornado!

I wonder about those numbers, it is impossible at this early hour to know how many have perished and are stranded, wounded or trapped still.

Also what about the Marysville situation? Reports of a town swept away in the storm yet no word on casualties?
