LOUISVILLE, KY, (PRESS RELEASE) – The American Red Cross is opening a shelter Friday night in Charlestown, IN for residents affected by Friday’s tornadoes. The shelter will be located at
Charlestown High School.
1 Pirate Place
Charlestown, IN 47111.
It will open at 6 p.m. The shelter offers a safe place to stay, food, minor first aid and a shoulder to lean on.
Red Cross workers are also on their way to Washington County Indiana to determine the immediate emergency needs of the community.
