The following is not limited only to US politics:

The Absolute Truth:
People, who are both wise and intelligent, have socially liberal and economically conservative values, views and policies.
People, who are only intelligent, have both socially and economically liberal values, views and policies.
People, who are only wise, have both socially and economically conservative values, views and policies.
People, who have neither of these qualities, are republicans.

I like your take on the subject.

Also, there is no beauty in politics, only a glittery mask.

Well if this isn't political trolling than I must have wandered under the wrong bridge.

If you can label someone in a group in opposition to yours, it is ok to hurt them, right?

It's not simply trolling.
By replying "it may seem that way if you're not both wise and intelligent" would be trolling.

Instead, the first three sentences have truth, logic and wisdom behind them.

The last sentence can be attributed to the fact that it is more often a republican viewpoint to tear down economical regulation and support a completely free market, which, as people are starting to notice, will end in disaster. It is completely naive to think and trust the markets to regulate themselves, as it is very easy to see from basic psychology models where this will lead. And we've lately seen the bubble burst because of this on several occations, leading to depression all over the western world.

Also, I doubt many dispute the fact that republicans in America are clearly the more socially conservative faction of the two parties, and rely on the church, the bible and other such outdated moral authorities as their model of socially acceptable behavior. Whether you believe in God or not, it is not for men to decide for example if gay people go to hell, no matter what it reads in an old book.

Admitted, the original was inflammatory, but if you look beyond the exterior, it does have a point.

It has no point.

The world is not made up of Republicans and Democrats, it is made up of people.

Yet people decide to represent the doctrines of the definitions of those abstracts.

If you're concentrating on the word 'republicans', you are missing the point. It is not to say republicans themselves are this or that, it has more to do with policies and people's ways of thinking and acting. The last sentence could just as easily have been "People, who have neither of these qualities, have socially conservative and aconomically liberal values, views and policies", but if you'll excuse an outsider's view of the US politics, this is very much what the republicans seems to represent most of the time.

So if you will, and can't get over that detail otherwise, forget the republicans and replace the last sentence with that.

so assuming everything you said in the OP are facts. What is your point of this thread? are you just trying to inform people of why they decide to represent the doctrines of the definitions of those abstracts?

It is a simple observation, which is derived from following psychology and logic, created to help and make people think and assess their own values and attitudes towards their political standpoints.

No, it's rhetoric.

Because the same thing could be said about democrats and people would believe either argument.

-facepalm-

This thread is exactly what's wrong with the world.

You're still stuck on the word 'republicans', right? If anything, this conversation is, or atleast should be, "a war of viewpoints", not people.

Socially liberal viewpoint can be summarized with the sentence "Live and let live", and therefore agreeing no one man is above another to judge his way of life as long as he does not hurt another. Agreeing we're all one, no matter what religion, race or philosophy we are or follow. This is basic intelligence.

Economically conservative viewpoint can summarized as trying to have a measure of self-restraint in a generation's selflishness in order to assure we do not create overwhelming and insurmountable problems for the later generations, like global warming, depleting sources of fresh water, pollution and such current little things earlier generations have left behind. This is basic wisdom.

That is not just rhetoric. It may be a simplification of things, but it most definately is not void of a point, nor is it's sole purpose to insult people. But from what I've gathered from my time in forums and the world at large, it is sometimes useful and efficient to "get under people's skin" to make and force them to think. "Like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad" for the lack of a better quote coming to mind right at this moment.

If you wanted to discuss Liberals and Republicans in a non-biased manner, you wouldn't have opened with:

The Absolute Truth:
People, who are both wise and intelligent, have socially liberal and economically conservative values, views and policies.
People, who are only intelligent, have both socially and economically liberal values, views and policies.
People, who are only wise, have both socially and economically conservative values, views and policies.
People, who have neither of these qualities, are republicans.

The first thing a wise person does in this life, is realize there are no absolutes.

Sorry, that was just my own special kind of dry humour and sarcasm. "The Absolute Truth" is complete irony.

The following is not limited only to US politics: The Absolute Truth: People, who are both wise and intelligent, have socially liberal and economically conservative values, views and policies. People, who are only intelligent, have both socially and economically liberal values, views and policies. People, who are only wise, have both socially and economically conservative values, views and policies. People, who have neither of these qualities, are mentally and / or emotionally stuck in the paradigm of political "teams".
