The drug wars have been going on for how long now? Almost as long as I can remember. There are always gonna be people that want to escape reality and get high. As long as they exsist there will be someone willing to supply it.

Cocain is practically worthless in Central and South America. Get it here to the US and it's price goes up 14000%.

How are you gonna stop that?

Take the criminality out of it and stop throwing our citizens in prisons for getting high. Our own governments stupidity perpetuates this $***.

Our governments also turn a blind eye to the big banks laundering the drug money, and making tidy profits from it. The private prison system benefits from all the people busted for possession and jailed. Big corporations benfit too from the private prison industry hiring out the inmates (who are paid pennies) to do work for them. It's a great big money-go-round where the only losers are the citizens.

Remember a couple of years back when Obama decided to get tough with US citizens stashing money offshore and went hell for leather at the Swiss banks? Ever wonder why he didn't hit the offshore banks closer to home first, in the Caribbean for instance?

Laundered drug money makes nice venture capital, boosts bank holdings, is used for election campaign donations, probably builds illegal Israeli settlements, is used for black ops off-the-books funding for destabilisng nations...etc..etc! Can anyone really see them giving all that up?

It's a fraud, like all the other "War on ???" BS we are fed. It's all about money.

Nixon actually started the war against drugs (French Connection) to the best of my memory.
Does that give you a clue as to why he went by-by.
All the while Kisenger was plotting against him.

Well
