So the Observer effect in its scientific meaning, is not making the wave collapse.

Just wanted to share that.

From understanding of that experiment, it shows we can finally detect which slit it went through,but knowing makes it collapse,so still involves nothing but consciousness.

But we were always able to detect, know, and make the wave collapse, the QE Exp just proves that it is really the availability of the information that collapses the wave and not the physical act of measuring, implying the role of consciousness.

I thought before this experiment any attempt to use a detector would just make the regular 2 lines.This experiment allows to know which slit by making it entangled,so that shows it has nothing to do with detector,and is just up to the fact we know which way.

Yes, if we don´t know what slit it goes through the particle is in superposition, meaning it is everywhere, and takes every possible path, it goes through both slits, interferes with itself and creates the wave, or interference pattern.

If we know wich slit it went through there can only be one possibility and the wave of potential collapses.

You could say the universe is a wave of potential and we are making it collapse into matter because we are observing it within our set parameters.

Totally freaky stuff.
