I have some images on my computer that i would like to use as avatar.. but my ? is since they are on my computer how do I put in the URL???

Upload them.

Member center, then click browse to find the selected file.

Then click upload, it will give you a URL.

The url for your avatar appears faulty, currently its showing:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Suspect it should be:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

which would produce this image:
