I found this gold pendant, need help with what it says!

I was out doing my running around this morning and as usual stopped at one of my favorite little thrift shops. It's only open two days a week so if I am out that way I make it a point to stop by.

I picked up a cute Casual Corner wool skirt/suit coat set for 2 bucks and inside the pocket was this:




I would like to know what the pendant says. Unfortunately I dont speak this language and I wouldn't even know where to look so I decided here. I am pretty sure someone here will be able to tell me what it says.

I think it may be the (a?) chinese ideogram for happiness.

It appears to be the Chinese symbol for "Good Luck"

I cleaned it up and put it on. I never wear yellow gold but it's small enough that i don't mind. Maybe it's just the luck I've been looking for lately
