only one i can fathom is the Vatican but the pope dont call for crusades these days or call for the removal of entire race or peoples good point and very good way of phrasing it some people just have to show up and defend these kind of statements and the more the leaders of countrys say these things the more likely they are to actualy get attacked for their "claims" and give their enemies legit reasons to attack

naw Chinese are too busy killing Tibetans(some do set them selves on fire but still) and dissidents to declare war on us would interrupt their cleansing of their "territories" so i think if they are gonna nuke us they are gonna have to pencil it in for when they dont have their own people or occupied peoples to kill

they were more of a threat back in the day up until tours when the French(shudders) helped stop the Muslim advance into Europe and eventual liberated Spain which had been under occupation for some time(not sure on the exact time period) then they were stopped if you look at the history of the crusades and that time period half of what the christians and other nations were doing were trying to contain them pretty much the same way we do now but not with like orders from god in our pockets but i think they were far more threatening back then then they are now its just now we have the internet so more people hear these things

example back in the day if some leader had said lets kill all of them and have a Jihad/crusade it took a bit longer for the people to figure out oh hey they are after us(if not by seeing them on their shores) as opposed to checking the interwebs and being like ok the iranian supreme mullah says lets wipe the jews off the map(or what ever the exact quote was) we hear about it immediately not in like the time it takes to send letters or offical diplomatic visits back in the day if that makes any sense?

if they did that they would face the combined armies of china and the usa and probably russia

china has said any interruption of oil to them is a declaration of war regardless of whose doing it
any cutt off would also make russia a good deal of money as they export a lot of oil and have a good deal of it themselves
im sure the usa would LOVE to do a joint operation with china and Russia to "restore the flow of oil and stability" to the region and the world cutting off the gas would not go very well for them hell china might just do it on its own

now to be fair if you were talking about just cutting the west off that could be a different situation entirely but it china gets cut off by any country that country is gonna have Chinese harassing them really quickly regardless of international opinion

and to be bluntly honest i dont see that happening ever as unless all oil producing areas of the globe decided to not play nice either other countires could make a good deal of money by being the ones with oil and selling to when no one else is thus letting them set the prices sorry for the off topic rant but i just dont see saudi pulling the plug and getting away with it could be wrong but i dont think i am but i guess we shal see

I wonder what is your motivation and/or a goal to demean religious leaders? I am a Canadian christian and this kind of posting would certainly qualify for trash can!

I love America, born and raised in north central Massachusetts.

But let me say this. The corrupt U.S. Govt. is putting Iran's back against the wall. Iran knows that we will attack them soon, by the end of March is my guess, and they are trying to rally their people.

Ask yourself, what would you do, if you were the leader of a people, that were about to be annihilated.

Would you tell them all to lose hope and kill themselves?

Or would you try to encourage them to persevere?

The answer is obvious.

I don't hate Iranians, they never hurt me.

But I hate corrupt governments that keep us in endless war.

He is a catholic fundamentalist who (ab)uses every opportunity to bash islam. Notice how he "subtly" linked the word "contradiction" in the OP to a well known anti-islamic propaganda website full of FECES.

For crying out loud, if any country in the world would say "the US has nuclear bombs and will attack us" for 30 years...don't you think the US would prepare for that case by developing weapons no matter if that claim is true or not?? It's common sense for crying out loud!

All this rhetoric from the Iranian leader is comparable to that of those bat# crazy Christian fundamentalists. The difference is, those Christian fundamentalists are a lot better at convincing their party to go to full-out war. We really need to stop listening to those village idiots, and the Iranian people need to do the same.

The sad part is, whenever Israel's fundamentalist crazies say "jump", the US leadership asks "how high?". I'm actually happy Obama's in power (even though I disagree with A LOT of his policies), because if someone like Santorum or god forbid Palin was in power, the US would have already invaded Iran (an Ireland in the case of Palin because both start with an "i").

No I'm not condoning ANYTHING about that god damn Viet Nam war. My brother died there just for the record. Even if not, it still was a ghastly mistake on our part.

As for the use of the A bomb in WW-2 I have talked at leangth as to why I agreed with its use, as if that was somehow "more evil" then the 100,000 dead from old fashioned fire bombing of Tokyo in one night. I should add I honestly think that the people who died from the two A bombs gave their life&health (physical, mental, emotional) in a way that likely is THE ONLY reason we did not have WW-3.

When we came so very close so many times, I don't think the thing that saved us was not an academic analysis of what the bomb could do. It was the image of burned and shattered bodies, a city looking like a giant had taken his arm and scraped the buildings to ground level. And of course shadows on walls. The last thing at least we will hopefully always remember and pray we never forget.

How about sending the bearded bastard's of Tehran a few of those images with an attached note as it applies to both Israel and the USA: Ours is bigger then yours...
