At least three of Iranian grand ayatollahs are saying that the Earth will soon be Islamic
They say it is promised by the Quran. It looks like the three are 'Twelvers' and are looking
forward to 'the end of the world' so that what is left in the rubble when the flames die out
and the dead are buried will be totally Islamic.

Anyways .. it's a Current Event/World War III news article.
(don't shoot the messenger.
)

The Daily Caller - Irans Grand Ayatollahs - 'Earth Belongs to Muslims and the End is Near

Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, indicated to his close associates that he saw a mandate for the final glorification of Allah to overthrow the Shah, establish an Islamic state and then pass the flag of Islam to the last Islamic Messiah. When asked if he would be the one to pass the flag, he responded that “the one after me will be the one” who will create the circumstances for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi, the Shiites’ 12th Imam.

In a recent statement, Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani, a top Iranian Twelver Shia and a “Marja” (source to follow), addressed the future of the world as per the Quran. “The Quran is very clear that the inheritors of the Earth will be those of the righteous who represent the force of the truth against the force of the false,” Sobhani says. “The Quran is the proof that the world will be controlled and managed by the forces of truth and that there will be one government ruling everyone throughout the world.” The Quran twice promises worldwide rule of Islam and its victory over all other religions, Sobhani says. According to hadiths, which have the tacit approval of the Prophet Muhammad, that will only happen when the last descendant of Muhammad, Imam Mahdi, returns and takes the rule of Islam from the East to the West.

This next quote is kinda funny. Sounds like a lot of wishful thinking to me. The city of Qom will be the center of science and an elevated learning center about Allah? That sounds like a lot of contradiction to me.

Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani, also a Twelver and a “Marja” with followers around the world, says the recent progress of Iran’s nuclear program is hailed as “significant and one that has shocked the infidels.”

Hamedani states that it is said that in the end of times, the city of Qom will be the center of science and an elevated center for learnings of Allah. He says the current Arab Spring in the region is due to the Islamic regime in Iran and that this awakening must expand to the world stage for the coming of the last Islamic Messiah

Let him believe in his fairy tales, one could say the same about extremist Christians and Zionists leaders believing in messiahs/anti-Christ/Satan/Babylon.

The good ol grand Ayatollah hasn't exactly hurt anyone, so don't see the problem here.

Now if you're trying to create propaganda that the West should bomb the living hell out of Iran because of what Ayatollah believes in than that's a different thing.

Any excuse to beat down a country that doesn't bow to the demands of Zionist bankers ehh?

Only if Gadaffi knew that him giving up his Nukes programe was signing his death certificate.

I had a bet with another poster here about how soon this kind of stuff would show up ont he thread. Congratulations .. you were even faster with the silly stuff than we thought someone would be. We had said that someone would show up spouting this stuff within 5 posts .... and you did it on the very first one.

Listen up people .... reporting the news and reporting the facts is NOT 'spreading propaganda'. It's not 'hate speech'. It's not 'calling for the west to bomb the hell out of Iran'. These Ayatollahs actually said those words. They are proud of them. The news is reporting exactly what was said. This thread is a discussion thread about what they said. It's awareness of what is going on.

Really?
Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei calls for destruction of Israel, Jews

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is calling for the death of all Jews and the destruction of Israel. On the Web site, called Alef, Khamenei says the opportunity must not be lost to remove "this corrupting material. It is a "'jurisprudential justification' to kill all the Jews and annihilate Israel, and in that, the Islamic government of Iran must take the helm."

The Evangelical environmental movement is rooted in the idea that humanity is engaging in sinfulness and disobedience to God by ignoring the mandate to "tend and keep" the land in which they were originally placed (Garden of Eden).[2] Evangelical Environmentalists are committed to the authority of the bible. Drawing from the Genesis (Gen.) 2:15, humans are seen as caretakers (Stewards) of God's Creation. Genesis 2:15 states: "And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it

en.wikipedia.org...

Say, isn't that garden in Mesopotamia the now radioactive biodeath desert where Muslims live(ed)..?
( or did, untill they were all bombed into the stoneage and irradiated and then subjegated to Monsanto and BP? )

Bad ayatollah!

A Century of War: Anglo-American Oil Politics and the New World Order by F. William Engdahl;

"In November 1978, President Carter named the Bilderberg group's George Ball, another member of the Trilateral Commission, to head a special White House Iran task force under the National Security Council's Brzezinski. Ball recommended that Washington drop support for the Shah of Iran and support the fundamentalistic Islamic opposition of Ayatollah Khomeini. Robert Bowie from the CIA was one of the lead 'case officers' in the new CIA-led coup against the man their covert actions had placed into power 25 years earlier.

we all know what happened next...out with the old, in with the new...AGAIN!

You're totally right!

How many senior politicians in the USA are Christian fundamentalists who believe that "Jesus Christ is coming back soon", and that "the world will belong to our Lord Jesus Christ, very soon"...

Including some candidates in the Republican primaries seem to believe in that too...

So what? Should the "rational" Chinese atheists nuke the USA, before the "fanatic" Christians win the elections?

Dont't shoot the messenger for the message!

If these "Grand Ayatollahs" are willing to make such a grandiose statements...

They have to be aware that in this modern "fastfood" information age the whole world is watching!

OP... S&F for putting this out for dissuction without your own personal warmongering!

This is the mind-set of their leadership.

And god-forbid, the same people who may have the bomb one day.

People will argue, blur, obfuscate what is being said. You'll see reinterpretation of "what they meant".

But sometimes if it quacks like a duck, poops like a duck, kills christians like a duck. . . . . .

Huge difference??

Really?

Do you think the USA is a country where there is a real separation between politics and religion?

So, what about this:

French philosopher and novelist Jean-Paul Sartre, nominated as president of the International War Crimes Tribunal, had been describing the US war in Vietnam as a genocide since 1967, even before he was aware of the horrifying effects of napalm and Agent Orange on the Vietnamese population.[288]

A film called U.S. Techniques of Genocide in Vietnam describes the use of elaborate U.S. weapons against civilian targets in Vietnam such as anti-personnel weapons designed to kill human targets while causing minimal damage to buildings, steel pellet bombs that zigzag in all directions and the internationally banned dum-dum bullet.[289] Agent Orange, used to devastate crops, which the US drenched Vietnam in so as to starve the communist fighters, has left to this day millions of deaths, disabilities, increased risk of diseases such as cancer, and most of all birth defects among the civilian population.[289] Vietnam said that half a million people had died as a result of chemical defoliants the United States used in the country

en.wikipedia.org...

these ding dongs have nuclear weapons and have used them too....unnessessarilly...
and of course have since admitted that the Gulf of Tonkin Incident never ever happened.

2012 is the year of the Caliphate. The caliphate conferences are springing up all over the place and the rhetoric continues to heat up. They want a world under Islam and Shariah for all.

22 years ago a Persian friend of mine ( HIs Family pulled out of Iran before their childeren were forced into service at 13) mentioned that Persians (Iranians) believed that they were the true Arayans of the world. I just laughed it off and never looked to deeply into it back then. What a difference 22 years makes

Hmmm... This years conference is in Austria

A message from the sponsor

Its purpose was to revive the Islamic Ummah from the severe decline that it had reached, and to liberate it from the thoughts, systems and laws of Kufr, as well as the domination and influence of the Kufr states. It also aims to restore the Islamic Khilafah State so that the ruling by what Allah (swt) revealed returns.

Ok so what should we do about it? What do you suggest? Should we take these words seriously, because after all that's all it is just words, or just take it with a grain of salt, because it apparently sounds like more propaganda even though you said your just being the messenger concerning this matter.

they might be the only religion who has yet to realize they have been lied to.

Not everyone of every religion does, but people are starting to wake up to the fact that obviously facts are left out of these books for a reason.

Except they believe every word of it.

Why would truth associate itself with a religion that involves killing others who are different.

Not that any other religion is any better..

- Be aware that it is being said. Educate ourselves. Don't stick our heads in the sand on this.
- It can't be 'propaganda' if the people actually said it. They are PROUD of their words.
