This could be pretty big, great post
Statfor came across as scum and they and their user base deserve every bit of this and more. Glad to see their CEO resign in shame. Can't wait to see the other major announcement tomorrow, one would think this is significant enough. Kudos to wikileaks and anon !

"The material contains privileged information about the US government’s attacks against Julian Assange and WikiLeaks and Stratfor’s own attempts to subvert WikiLeaks. There are more than 4,000 emails mentioning WikiLeaks or Julian Assange"

"Stratfor did secret deals with dozens of media organisations and journalists – from Reuters to the Kiev Post. The list of Stratfor’s “Confederation Partners”, whom Stratfor internally referred to as its “Confed F*** House” are included in the release."

things are certainly getting interesting

First, none are really aware of
the political pressures on other elites. Second, they
completely misunderstand the alienation of the publics, three,
except for Volcker, they think this can be handled by the elites
among themselves. We have a crisis of the elites, in my view.

Confirmation that the governments control media for public distraction...most already knew it but confirmation is valuable moving forward...

100 million people plus won't take long going through 5 million emails. There'll be eyes all over this material the second it's been released.

the info coming out is HUGE, anyone saying it isn't is insane:

"Kissinger believes that the Israelis are in a panic and will
attack Iran. Erdogan has made it clear to him that he plans to
break with Israel at some point and reorient toward the Islamic
world. He intends to be their leader."

AND for anyone interested in Fulford et al

"One sense I'm getting here is that the American elite, along
with Europe's, China's and just about everyone but Russia's his
suffering from three problems: First, none are really aware of
the political pressures on other elites. Second, they
completely misunderstand the alienation of the publics, three,
except for Volcker, they think this can be handled by the elites
among themselves. We have a crisis of the elites, in my view."

Your right,
also if this came from anon
then you can bet some people
have already seen it..
I am sure when this comes out
some savvy computer techs
will be able to tell if anything was
altered.

I'd be willing to bet that there are some ex Strafor IT employees that now have jobs cleaning toilets, if they have any job at all.

From your link:

George Friedman wrote:

Turkey would break with israel and the united states. It would
be an opportunity erdogan is looking for.

Iran would become more visible but not more powerful. A year
after the attack its underlying weakness would still be there
and its dependence on turkey greater.

In my view the ourtcome of this is turkish power. But remeber,
my insight is not that israel will attack. Its that kissinger
thinks they will attack. Huge difference.

Holy crap. That's a huge revelation. I wondered which way Turkey was going politically and now I know.

I also now know why Friedman resigned

Apparently Friedman's resignation was intercepted by anon....

Friedman goes on to say "Regarding the latest breach, Stratfor is fully in control of the situation". Idiot.
The Turkey revelations are rather startling as well....

I don't agree.. the e-mails show the inner workings of a company involved in "intelligence" operations for major corporations and government agencies.. It can be quite revealing, especially if talking about corruption or wrongdoing ..

Exactly, it might also show 'collusion' between corporations and intel they might plant for their benefit - i.e. disinfo.

The Hack on Stratfor

Jan 11th 2012

--

Wonder if this is related? Or a seperate incident?

In early December I received a call from Fred Burton, Stratfor's vice president of intelligence. He told me he had received information indicating our website had been hacked and our customer credit card and other information had been stolen. The following morning I met with an FBI special agent, who made clear that there was an ongoing investigation and asked for our cooperation. We, of course, agreed to cooperate. The matter remains under active investigation.

From the beginning I faced a dilemma. I felt bound to protect our customers, who quickly had to be informed about the compromise of their privacy. I also felt bound to protect the investigation. That immediate problem was solved when the FBI told us it had informed the various credit card companies and had provided those companies with a list of compromised cards while omitting that it had come from us. Our customers were therefore protected, as the credit card companies knew the credit cards and other information had been stolen and could act to protect the customers. We were not compelled to undermine the investigation.

Just the the fact that there is confusion on China's stand is very interesting to me in light of information we already have!

Total confusion on situation in China, but more on Obama. They
don't understand who is running China policy. The decision to
meet with the Dalia Lama strikes them as particularly bizarre.
But China is the least of the discussion. It is about Greece
and Iran. China is kind of an afterthought.

Oops, sorry mods, done that wrong!
