Was there footage of the incident? or was it assumed that it was Islamists, we have had graves desicrated by youths thinking vandalizing is fun, because the graves where from early settlers, do we assume it was the native population that did it for revenge about being colonized?

Why are they even attacking a Brit cemetery when it's US troops they are offended by?

If you believe in the old saying "an eye for an eye" then Afghans can kill hundreds of thousands of Americans and British soldiers without morale retribution. Libya has been destroyed by the British and French so deystroying a grave yard is no biggie and imagine if a load of arabs invaded the US and started burning bibles, just imagine the look on the face of Fred Phelps, not to mention terrorist organisations like the KKK.

I just don't understand the uncontrolled rage... I have ZERO issues with any religion. But when someone kills another under their fanatical religious views, its wrong, and I know for a FACT, Islam says to not kill another.
(But on the other hand, it does say you can kill infidels).. hmm.. All Religions have their double standards. Even Christians -- 'Turn the other cheek', then you get 'an eye for an eye'..

For me, I wouldn't harm anyone.. I would only resort to violence if my Family was in danger, or friends... but wouldn't kill them--if I could help it... I mean, things all around this world are falling apart.. Geez, maybe the Mayans were right... if things keep going this way, we may be wiping each other out soon.

It's unacceptable for uneducated apes to be burning religious texts in public. They might not be important to you, but they are important to others, expecially in some cases throughout the middle-east were people are unable to afford their own books to study. It is an insult.

Even though religion (as a whole) is part of the problem and the reason why all major conflicts/wars have started... people's property should be respected.

The upsetting part here is that a british memorial monument has been destroyed on behalf of uneducated american troops. I don't want my country pulled deeper into this mess by the ego's of a selective few american troops.

I didn't know they did!!! That is just as bad.. Hell, ANY Grave stone to a fallen Hero or not should be respected.. How evil is it to actually take the time to go chip away hard stone to break it apart? I mean.... inhuman.

The chances are it was, indeed, a group of teenage muslim boys who did the damage but, you know what? I DON'T blame them!
WHEN will folk realise that other people of other countries do not believe we are, in fact, superior? I can only imagine what those same soldiers would have done had they discovered burning bibles in the rubbish of, say, for illustration purposes ONLY, the Pakistani Govt buildings!!

So, are you saying it is justified to KILL PEOPLE for accidentally burning books? Please say you are not....

No... no... Don't dare blame America for the desecration of the Grave stones... Everyone has morals and self control.. they can choose to do something or not.. the people that destroyed the grave stones are at fault. Don't try to throw blame to America as usual with the Middle East... Yet when they NEED us, we help, then they tell us to get out and go to war...
