You know, I always used to think that women like Melissa Etheridge and Martina McBride were the best in the business. Then I found this one not too long ago and realized that no one has ever held a candle to her.

There's just something very intriguing about her.

That can be a good thing though. People can interpret someone else's song in a way that gives it another "layer" somehow. It compliments the original in a way that makes it better.

I totally agree with you. Many artists give the songs they cover a different flavor, or layer as you put it, that is very enjoyable to the audience.

Here is an oldie, that I still love.

I have never heard or seen that video before, so it was a real treat .


here is another I found following your link , by the legend Tony Bennett ...with Lady Gaga.(not a huge gaga fan , but she does have a great voice and does a great job with this tune)
