Explained? The "Biological Warfare" attack on Washington in the 90's... was it test of this cloud

a small town in Washington state falls victim to a plague of sorts after tiny blobs of gelatinous goo rained from the sky on August 7, 1994. It made dozens of people severely ill.
Black military helicopters were sighted in the Oakville, Washington area before rain storms brought the fall of the unknown substance.
In 1997, residents of in the Everett area of Washington State reported a similar clear gelatinous substance falling from the sky, according to a guest on Art Bell’s syndicated radio program. “Art’s guest says she received hundreds of calls from people all over the country that have also reported the fall of deadly gelatin blobs.”

Well this is a well documented mystery. The people in all the Washington towns claim it made them sick. The military as useuall denied everything and offered rediculous excuses.

But was it just really an early test of materials like this?

A method for artificially modifying the weather by seeding rain clouds of a storm with suitable cross-linked aqueous polymer. The polymer is dispersed into the cloud and the wind of the storm agitates the mixture causing the polymer to absorb the rain. This reaction forms a gelatinous substance which precipitate to the surface below. Thus, diminishing the clouds ability to rain.

The patent is 2000 and this does not have any live cells. But the military has technology several generations beyond so a couple years difference is minuscule.

Either way it seems to line up as a very similar substance and thus would use similar delivery systems. This area would be a good place to execute a test as it rains ~300 days out of the year. So they chose a location where it was less likely to be noticed... except the gel got noticed. And not by just yahoos. The first reports were by police officers per the video. This was widely reporting all around and is documented by MSM, not a conspiracy.

It did happen, it could very well be substances like in this patent.

The military has a long history of testing on the public without knowledge or consent.

Here is an official ATS thread with many of these recorded tests: link

Many of those were deadly and without knowledge or conset, so the government has a long history of this.

According to the patent (ibed google link above) they claim there is no hazard, but according to the people it made them sick.

7. The methods of claim 1 wherein said aqueous solidifier is biodegradable and nonhazardous.

So is this another example of government testing on the public, supposedly of a harmless cloud seeding substance?

How about these other more recent examples:

You decide for yourself, but I think it is likely.

Interestingly the last video (the blue balls) was probably made from the same stuff as listed in the patent: Superabsorbent polymers. Used to line diapers. But in the blue ball case, it's been shown they were just garden hydration beads.

This was promoted as a hurricane reduction method by Peter Cordani of "GelTech Solutions". But came to nothing, mostly because any meaningful test would have been rather expensive, requiring dumping several tons of the diaper liner into the hurricane.

Peter Cordani wants to fly 10 747s into the hurricane filled with something called Dyn-O-Gel. The substance, used in diapers, absorbs water and turns it into a gel, which would fall into the Gulf Coast. Now, Cordani says it could slow down and maybe even stop the hurricane.

He attempted to raise $50 Million of venture capital to try this out. But failed to find investors.

Plenty of other explanations for the other things that fell from the sky though.

Various gel-type and other things have been falling from the sky since recorded history.

Excellent Thread nice job Pianopraze

I would like to ad these Link1 and Link2 and a few videos to your thread.

A quick trailer Full Documentary

Owning the weather Documentary

Chaos theory hurricane control, advanced cloud seeding, massive ionospheric heaters, storm absorbing super gels, nano scale weather machines, some barely visible to the human eye. All of these technologies exist in some form today -- many of them are being tested at this very moment. In many parts of the world, large-scale modification is already common place, and with good reason.

In the global warming thing studies have shown that natural (real) cirrus clouds hold more heat to the earth than they deflect. This has been given as a reason for the spraying - to eat up these clouds and to inhibit other natural clouds which would rain-out the spray designed to destroy natural cirrus. These studies are from 2010 and 2011 so what it was all about back then was different.

I remember reading about the WA case when I was looking for an explanation of globs that fell from the sky where I was at the time in a wilderness area of northern NM. That was in 2003 and 2004 in a place that got very little rain as it was so that couldn't have been a reason there. In what was called the monsoon season there - clouds would form late in the day, rain briefly and that was usually that. The bulk of natural cirrus, though, from what I've read, is not visible to us. The clouds are so high and thin that we just can't see them.

Kind of makes you want to kill...the government - Army, Navy and CIA - experimenting on the population. What a classless act they are.

My home town in mo was wiped of the map in the early 80's when a weapon of warfair called DIOXIN was sprayed on us 2800 people lived there .It was called TIMES BEACH ,MO. I have traced the origins of this material to a producer that SHARED the equipment with the DEPT OF THE ARMY.THings that make you go hummmmm.

Testing the effectiveness of cloud seeding is very difficult - how would we know it wouldn't have rain as much anyway? It's why many meteorologists still question whether it really works.

It would make sense to test any proposal in an area where it doesn't rain much, not one where rain is common and the effects difficult if not impossible to determine.

That makes no sense at all of you're talking about chemtrails!

And the effect on temp of cirrus - whether natural or manmade (contrails) - is overall very little. There are many more cost effective means of reducing AGW. Not leaving the lights on all night, for example.

Very interesting. Here's a summary on this event from Wikipedia:

Times Beach, Missouri

Once home to more than two thousand people, the town was completely evacuated early in 1983 due to a dioxin contamination that made national headlines. It was the largest civilian exposure to dioxin in the country's history.

Plagued with a dust problem in the early 1970s due to its 23 miles (37 km) of dirt roads and lack of pavement funds, the city of Times Beach hired waste hauler Russell Bliss to oil the roads in and around the town in 1971.[2] From 1972 to 1976, Bliss sprayed waste oil on the roads at a cost of six cents per gallon used.

The problem began when Bliss took a contract with a local company called ICP to dispose of toxic waste.[2] ICP was being paid $3,000 per load to remove toxic waste from Northeastern Pharmaceutical and Chemical Company (NEPACCO). ICP in turn paid Bliss $125 to eliminate the waste.

Bliss first used the technique of spraying waste oil to control dust in horse stables after discovering it worked well at his own home.[2] When a March 1971 spraying resulted in the death of 62 horses, the owners of the stable suspected Bliss, who assured them he had sprayed used engine oil.[2] Bliss, however, had mixed the NEPACCO waste with the oil.

The cleanup cost the government a total of $110 million, $10 million of which was reimbursed by Syntex. After the cleanup, the incinerator was dismantled and the site was turned over to the State of Missouri.

So, basically, there's a pharmaceutical that piles up toxic waste and contracts for removal and that contractor subsequently sub-contracts for disposal. The disposal contractor decides that the toxic waste may as well be used and sprays it on roads and other areas as dust suppression. In the end, the government (another name for the taxpayer here) winds up spending $100 million to clean it up. Some more investigation would probably reveal a sordid history of health problems arising from all aspects of this production.

I think this happens a lot. There's toxic waste of one form or another and it gets used up by someone seeing $$ signs - free. I, personally, feel that this is part of what goes on in our skies as well. Whatever is laying around, unused and valueless, might as well contribute to global warming mitigation. The cost of this behavior is very high judging by this bit of evidence you put up.

I don't really agree with this. Global dimming is a real problem. If people are talking about vitamin D deficiency, there's a lot more going on here than 'very little.' If you read the studies on heat retention for cirrus, they all kind of fade to gray by saying things like: 'it's not really possible to know the amount of cirrus'...and...'telling natural cirrus from man-made is not easy'...and...'a lot of cirrus is invisible to the eye so it's not possible to quantify it.' I think it's a HUGE problem and I think the PTB know this. Lidar can easily quantify fake cirrus produced from a chemtrail. It can't quantify homogenous clouds but it can certainly 'see' the ones produced by a nano chemtrail.

I would venture to guess that all the official studies of these matters coming out since 1983 are actually studies of various experiments with our atmosphere. Independent studies have been inconvenient for our governments but deliberately created confusion has reigned via statements like yours quoted at the beginning of this post and followed up with 'studies' that claim inability to quantify.

Yeah - chemmies hijacking vitamin D deficiency stories with scaremongering that it is all the fault of chemtrails.

Cirrus does not block the sun and stop vitamin D.

Wearing strong sunblock all the time, always covering up when outside and always staying out of the sun affects vitamin D levels - not some invented fantasy story about clouds that ignores reality yet again!

Even in notoriously non-sunny places like the UK (even if only by reputation) there is plenty of sunlight available for good Vitamin D levels (from link above):

I would never recommend sunbathing because of the skin damage and cancer risks. However, sun exposure in the summer months in the UK is important - for example, if you are walking to the shops, leave your arms and face bare of sunscreen, just for 20 to 30 minutes. Doing this only three times a week is enough to keep your Vitamin D levels at a good amount.

Global dimming is due to sulphate and other aerosols produced by industrial processes, as well as wood burning. Nothing to do wth cirrus clouds, natural or otherwise.

It has been suggested that such aerosols might counter AGW. They are not visible from the ground.

I live a few minutes from there.
I remember that whole fiasco when I was a kid.

The ENTIRE damn town was evacuated.
People left all of their wordly posessions behind never to return again.

Now it is just a public park or something.
If I'm not mistaken, it is still not safe to be there for extended periods.

They dug up every square ince of contaminated soil and burned it if memory serves.

Wow what a mess.
sorry you had to go thru that.

Yea it was horible ,To make things 10 times worse , for many months the government said they could not help the people with any asistance .So we sent letters to other countries like japan asking for help for this town in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA that was ignored by its gov. Then we put coffins on the governors LAWN with cameras rolling on ch 2 news!! Suddenly the gov announced it would set up a superfund to help us.Sometimes you have to stand up to TYRANY.

Another interesting thing DIOXIN was in AGENT ORANGE sprayed on vietnam

Are you sure about that?

Chemically, Agent Orange is an approximately 1:1 mixture of two phenoxyl herbicides – 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) and 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4,5-T) – in iso-octyl ester form.[13]

Not to say that is any better, but I would love to see a link to for where you read Dioxin is in Agent Orange....

In order to avoid substantial money for health costs and clean-up, the Dioxin spraying continues because Monsanto, in league with the government, has succeeded up to now in disallowing independent studies, in this case from abroad. Dioxin was a larger part of Monsanto's Agent Orange than the Agent Orange produced by other weed killer companies like Dow.

It is another story of finding a continuing use for toxic waste rather than spending the money to clean it up while stopping production altogether.

The Times Beach Story by Marilyn Leistner, last Mayor of Times Beach, Missouri

On November 10, 1982, a reporter for a local newspaper called city hall and informed our city clerk that Times Beach was just possibly among the sites sprayed by Russell Bliss with waste oil containing dioxin. This news was followed by a call from the Environmental Protective Agency confirming the reporter's information.

Chaos broke loose. The residents immediately recalled that the roads had turned purple after being sprayed. The spraying had resulted in an awful odor. Birds had died and newborn animals succumbed shortly after their birth. One man remembered a dog found in one of the contaminated ditches. They thought the dog rabid and prevailed upon a policemen to shoot it. Another man told how he had called the St. Louis Health Department to tell them about the dead birds he kept finding. The department recommended that he freeze the dead birds and said they would be out to pick them up. No one ever came.

The road commissioner recalled one occasion when he had been infuriated. The city fathers had instructed him to make sure no more of the oil was used on the roads. He had passed this information on to the waste oil hauler, only to discover a few days later that the waste oil truck driver had emptied the contents of his tank truck in an undeveloped area of the city. This particular area was later to become the city's ball park. Our kids all played there, and later we were to learn the soil of the park contained 10 priority pollutants.

On December 23, 1982, the residents received what we now call our Christmas message. "If you are in town it is advisable for you to leave and if your are out of town do not go back."

Children learned from watching television that "dioxin" dirt from The Beach fed to laboratory animals killed them. The very dirt they walked on, played in and rode their bicycles over was killing animals.

Vietnam Veterans of America...April 27, 2012

Our Veterans who sacrificed their well-being for our country were lied to about their exposure to toxic chemicals which have claimed many lives long after our troops left Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Vietnam Veterans and the Vietnamese people did not deserve to die premature deaths from dioxin exposure and cannot afford further exposure to dioxins. The children and grandchildren of Vietnam Veterans are suffering from rare medical conditions with no family history or apparent cause, but have been neglected by researchers. Now, Dow and Monsanto wish to release genetically modified corn that has increased resistance to 2,4-D and resistance to "fop" herbicides. It is true that 2,4-D has been used for many years. It is also true that the science is unsettled on the possible health concerns associated with 2,4-D. But the increase in use of 2,4-D and the concomitant use of an herbicide never before used on corn crops is certainly a change to the conventional method of farming corn. The naming of this weed control method, "Enlist", is an unfortunate public relations misstep if Dow does not want to draw comparisons to Agent Orange. 2,4-D is a chemical very similar to 2,4,5-T, which was the main dioxin-contaminated component of Agent Orange, but 2,4-D was also present in Agent Orange.

No it wasn't....

Monsanto Corporation and Dow Chemical. The 2,4,5-T used to produce Agent Orange was later discovered to be contaminated with 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzodioxin (TCDD), an extremely toxic dioxin compound.

2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) is a polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxin (in short but inaccurately also called dioxin).

Maybe you can show us where it says Dioxin is in Agent Orange?

Maybe you can show us where it says Dioxin is in Agent Orange?

Dear King of Trivia: Monsanto doesn't want Dioxin from Round-Up-Ready linked with Agent Orange. Make sense? Same way they don't want GMO labelled. Use your head when dealing with mega-corporations. They're going to tell you it's fairy dust just like the military industrial complex is going to tell us that chemtrails are contrails and are just water vapor. These stories should have been left behind in the nursery. An interest in observation, rather than the marketing efforts by Monsanto of the toxic waste called Dioxin, would be helpful.

How Agent Orange Worked

Dioxin is the name given to a class of highly toxic substances found in Agent Orange and some of the other Agent herbicides. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs claimed that Agent Orange had only "minute traces" of dioxin (in this case, the potent dioxin known as TCDD), but areas where Agent Orange was sprayed or stored show high concentrations of the compound.

The World Health Organization has classified dioxin as a "known human carcinogen" that can damage essential bodily systems, such as the endocrine, immune and nervous systems [source: WHO]. It also has been linked with miscarriages in women [source: Bertazzi et al]. Studies of people exposed to dioxins through workplace accidents have been found to have an increased risk of cancer (about 40 percent) [source: GreenFacts]. Studies of dioxin on animals have yielded similar adverse health effects.

When dioxin isn't contained, it seeps into the ground and the groundwater sources, polluting the local ecology and becoming part of the food chain.

The effects of dioxin can be clearly seen in the case of Ukrainian politician Viktor Yushchenko, who was poisoned with dioxin but survived. After being poisoned, Yushchenko's appearance changed dramatically. His once youthful face became pockmarked, scarred and shaded an eerie green-grey. He had terrible pain in his torso, in part because of lesions that contributed to his facial scarring. It's amazing that he even survived.

Monsanto, Agent Orange and Dioxins

Agent Orange was manufactured by Monsanto, Dow Chemicals (manufacturers of napalm), Uniroyal, Hercules, Diamond Shamrock, Thompson Chemical and TH Agriculture. Monsanto [was] the main supplier. The Agent Orange produced by Monsanto had dioxin levels many times higher than that produced by Dow Chemicals, the other major supplier of Agent Orange to Vietnam.... Monsanto's involvement with the production of dioxin contaminated 2,4,5-T dates back to the late 1940s. 'Almost immediately workers started getting sick with skin rashes, inexplicable pains in the limbs, joints and other parts of the body, weakness, irritability, nervousness and loss of libido,' to quote Peter Sills, author of a forthcoming book on dioxins. Internal Monsanto memos show that Monsanto knew of the problems but once again a cover-up was the order of the day...

Be careful who you believe...what's in your skies?

Great research. Time mag called dioxin THE DARTH VADER OF ALL CHEMICALS because no matter how small the test sample was, the imune system was depressed.

You my not know this but many of you are consuming dioxin, yes thats what i said. DIOXIN is also the biproduct of SOAPS AND BLEACH AND PAPER MILLS and and on and on. There are small amounts of dioxin STILL IN THE BLEACH. A wile back many salmon ponds where closed down in californa because they tested high in dioxin . This is why the more you wash your hands , the lower your imune system will be, making you more likely to catch colds and flues. SEE how its one big loop, they make us sick so we run to them to "CURE" us, and we even paid for it.

Dioxin isn't a specific substance. In the same way chemical compound or isotope or acid don't refer to a specific substance.

If we're discussing a dioxin it would therefore be useful to specify which one is being referred to. To avoid any possible confusion
