Hey Guys and Gals,

Just wanted to share my love for the films/TV I have recently watched and REALLY enjoyed!

The TV that is aired these days is utter rubbish IMO all the reality tv is boring to me and full of irritating people!
But this is MY opinion ...so for those who feel the same I have found some cracking gems that I would like to share.


TV series
- American Horror story - this is an amazing series that had me gripped from the first episode.
- Breaking Bad - i love it, very well written
- Game of thrones - simply amazing!
- Dexter. this is a program that gets better and better with every season
- Dark Place - comedy series really bizzare but hilarious!


Films
- Unknown
- Moon - one of my favourite space movies ever.
- The Thing - the new prequal, i relly enjoyed this , im a fan of the original too
- The Grey - Amazing film
- In Time - this one suprised me, some great ideas.
- Conan the barbarian
- Book of Eli
- The Manchurian Candidate

I could go on but these are fresh in memory and things i have watched more recenlty if I remeber more I'll post them here

Hi, i'm glad you said Unknown, as i have it and am now going to watch it. I also liked The manchurian candidate. I really liked The departed recently, there's so many films i havn't watched so i'll get some ideas from this. Thanks. I need to start watching 24, and watch the rest of Prison break. I totally agree with game of thrones, they have done a great job and are sticking very close to the books, new season starts up in April. As for dexter I was very excited about it at first but now I kind of think it got a tad stale, but the last season ender was a good one. The River is doing well too, very creepy.

Best T.V show is Sons of Anarchy

ricky gervais show. the only show that always makes me laugh.
farscape. the most interesting sci-fi ever that kicks firefly's butt over and over. they both gone now though
the sky at night. great for anyone who loves astronomy
stargazers live. another good astronomy show.

MOVIES
moon. i completely agree with anyone who likes this film
blade runner. on of my fave sci-fi movies
shawshank redemption. everybody loves this movie.

some oldies i forgot about.
brewster's millions. classic richard pryor and john candy.
space balls. because its space balls.
see no evil, hear no evil. r pryor and gene wilder are awesome.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions i will look at ALL of those i havent seen

currenlty watching and enjoying The River and Alcatraz so thanks alot for those !! they are diffrerent which is what i like.. better than soaps anyway

also got the some films mentioned in here so il give them a go cheers.


i love napoleon dynamite, and flight of the conchords,.. anyone have any comedy suggestions that are similar in nature?

- also watched Eagle vs Shark which i thought was good

PS if you havent watched Flight of the Conchords i would recommend very funny
