(CNSNews.com) - At a fundraiser in Louisville, Ky., Thursday evening, First Lady Michelle Obama said she hears every day about the struggles of the middle class -- which are nothing new, she added:

She really means; "nothing new under Barry's watch that is

"Every day, I hear about how folks are struggling -- the bills they're trying to pay; the businesses they're trying to keep afloat. I hear about how folks are taking that extra shift, they're working that extra job, they're doing whatever they have to -- they're saving, they're sacrificing, never spending a dime on themselves because they desperately want something better for their kids.

Really Michelle ? ... every single day ? You wouldn't be fibb'n would ya now ?

"And make no mistake about it, these struggles that I'm talking about, these are not new. For decades now -- decades -- middle-class folks have been squeezed from all sides. See, the cost of things like gas, groceries, tuition -- prices continuing to rise, but people’s paychecks just haven’t kept up. And when this economic crisis hit, for far too many families the bottom just completely fell out."

Mrs. Obama described her husband as a man who carries Americans' dreams with him; who never loses sight of the "end goal," who "never, never lets himself get distracted by the chatter and the noise," and who "just keeps moving forward."

I think we've had just about all the "help" we can stand for now !!

Do you people EVER stop complaining about the president? I would bet that half of these people crying and fussing about what Obama is doing, actually helped to put him in office!

And you know what? It's going to happen every 4 years, because no matter WHAT they do, not everyone is happy. They will always have impotent talkers like you just yapping away, but doing not a DARN thing to help anyone out.

Why don't you run for President? If it's such an easy job, surely you can sit back and enjoy a nice scotch and cigar at the end of the day and sleep knowing everything is perfect out in the world.

What's that? Nothing is perfect? Then why the heck should you expect the bleeding President of the United States to be? HE - IS - NOT - GOD! He's a man who has taken it upon himself to pull our country's # out of the fire, and you know what? The fact we are all still alive and the money is still flowing (even if it is flowing a little sluggishly) says that he is at least doing SOMETHING right.

And all you do is complain about what he's doing. Do you have any organizations out to kill you? Do you have to worry about the repercussions of every statement, every action, every single freakin' thing you do?

He has taken the responsibility. He is only human, but he has taken the mantle of power upon himself, knowing that just as many people would hate him as they would like him. And you just sit there on your posterior and post snide comments.

What are you doing for our country? At least he's trying. The reason he doesn't get far is because you can't fix a piece of # car. But he's trying...and you just sit there.

Shut up and stop complaining. Or run for Congress, where you actually get paid to run your snide mouth.

The problem is these people live in a different world and cant even begin to comprehend where most people are coming from. Our way of life must seem as foreign as any distant land and so appeals are based on rumors

I would love to engage in a conversation with you about the struggles the middle class are going through....but you don't seem to have an opinion on that at all.

Above is every line of your own from the OP...it says nothing...nothing at all. Just a few snide remarks looking for a laugh. Yes, you will get your precious stars and flags, you bash Obama on ATS you get your stars and flags. But give me something to discuss...quoting an article with snide remarks isn't really a great conversation starter...what it says to me is that you have no true criticism on the content of the article...so you will just try to draw attention away from the content and kick off the "let's bash Obama on anything, even if it makes sense" ball rolling.

Look, we know Obama is just the puppet currently in power and I don't like him any more than you do, but by concentrating on Obama you are missing the bigger picture and letting it pass you by.

You have to look at this situation in it's entirety, and then you will realize that Obama is Bush, Romney is Obama, etc, etc.

I feel like you are almost making these threads to get positive reinforcement about your hate of Obama. It sucks right now for Obama haters, the economy is improving, his numbers are up, and it doesn't look like anyone can beat him in the upcoming election. So to make yourself feel better, you take an article where Michelle Obama is talking about the struggles of the middle class...which is true...and you so desperately try to turn it into a bash on Michelle.

Is hitting the "tell me more" button that taxing for you?

Raising funds for public parks was just one small example but, if you insist on making it your focus, I can say it helps a lot more people than tax breaks for the wealthy does.

I know, most of those people getting the tax breaks have their own private courtyards or gardens so probably never need to set foot in a park but the rest of America sort of digs being able to see some nature sometimes. Parks are very important.

But if you want something more you language such as private sector jobs, check this out.
