Wow. I wish I hadn't of missed that thread when it was posted. Thank you.

Good stuff. No, to me, great stuff.

Well, March 1 came and went. No evidence of any issues. But, that is the problem. People won't know the bad side of this recent policy change by Google.... for a long time.... When it is way to late.

AND. Apparently there is a way for you to view the history information/profile Google has established on you. I will check for a link. It is a Google item to access.

Try> Abine.com 'Do Not Track Plus' It will give you a list of who is tracking you. I do it for fun as I am insignificant to their agenda, I pray.

It was already turned off but i suggest you people also use ghostery plugin to stop third party tracking.

Yup, it still will track you even logged out.
I had not messed with it, i got a google
account a year or so ago, and never really used
it, i'm not a google fan, but i went and checked and
i bet i have not logged into google in over 8 months and
to my suprise, it had all my recent activity listed.
Up to and including reading this thread.

So i went a bit beyond the suggested 'turn off' function..
i deleted my account. *lol* I never use google anyway
hate the search engine, prefer the old school versions.
and some alternative search engines.

Thanks for the link bud! I knew that crap was on but could never find where to shut it off. Chances are they're still data mining though.
