Oh, this is hard.

Rob Harvey - vocals
Uli Roth - guitar
Steve Harris - bass
Danny Carey - drums
Wigit - tambourine
I thought of Uli Jon Roth myself and remember the Scorpions song "We'll Burn The Sky" as well as many others from when he was in that "awesome" band? who i saw live, outdoors in 1988...

So how about...

Ann Wilson from heart as vocalist, from the 1970's when she first sang Crazy On You and Magic Man...
Uli Roth from the Scorpions as lead guitarist
Steve Harris from Iron Maiden as bassist
Neal Peart from Rush as drummer

And remember the guitarists Yngwei Malmsteen and George Lynch from Dokken?

I agree! And they'd have to cover this.

Though watching Rudy dancing on the left I feel guilty leaving him out. Let's just call the Scorpions my ultimate fantasy supergroup, lol.

Saw them in 85 at Knebworth. Loved it.

Oh...I wanna play...

I'll add a few wildcards to my group, as well. A rapper and a female singer..as well as an additional guitarist to get that "Supergroup" feel turned up to eleven

-------------------------------------------------------
Singer: Mike Patton
(wildcard) Female Singer/Piano/Keyboards: Tori Amos
(wildcard) Rapper: Chuck D
Guitar: Jimi Hendrix
(wildcard) 2nd Guitar: Frank Zappa
Bass: Les Claypool
Drums: Dave Lombardo
-------------------------------------------------------

I would enjoy the simulated chaos that could take place from such a lineup.

Robert Trujillo is the bass player for Infectious Grooves. For Tim Commerford you would want a video from Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave or the one Pusifer song he played on.

I was pretty sure it's Tim Commerford. I just looked it up and you're right. All these years I could of sworn in was Tim Commerford....I'll edit.

Thanks

No worries...I make my fair share of mistakes, too.

Not like you could really go wrong with either of those bass players anyway.

Bernard Edwards from the late 1970's band Chic as Bassist and just listen to his Bass Playing > www.youtube.com...

And didnt David Bowie and Bing Crosby record some songs together in the 1970's?

Congratz, what a great thread! And some wonderful combinations, though some leave me wonder what would come out of it.

My super band;

Vocals - Chris Cornell (Soundgarden/Temple of the Dog)
Guitar - Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge)
Bass - Flea (Red Hot Chilli Peppers)
Drums - Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree)

And this would be fun;

Vocals: Frank Zappa

Bass: Doug Wimbish (Living Colour)
Drums: Neil Peart (Rush)
