Well, do they? Just give me your thoughts .
You don't have to read the rest. I won't mind.

But in case your wondering, I think so.
So now you can stop reading.

They don't rise every time but seem to
coincide with a combination of hope by the people
and effective policy by the president.

Oh and....
I don't got no stinkin' graphs*. This is all gut.
Although I bet some will show up, haha.
(*Fox, NewsMax and the like don't count)

Still reading?
Ok, I believe this, because I've come to a long pondered conclusion.
The fight is Big Oil vs the Obama admin. I'll lose 3 readers to 1
when they come to that line. Now listen, I bet Obama's got some big ass
oil buddies, it's a product of that capitalism you all adore so much.
But there is no love lost between Obama and US oil energy corps.

Koch Bros? Hate him.
Just pledged 100 million dollars to defeat him. (that is some hate)
Haliburton? Come on.
Exxon? Blah blah blah

Why does this matter? Because right-wing AM rant and all the
"Obama eats babies" stories (just the white ones btw)
are are encouraged & I believe funded eventually
by what I'll now call "BCO" or big conservative oil.

This has not always been the case, but for now,
every time you vote republican or tea party** ,
Your voting in policy alignment with big oil.
And that is a big fat fact. They hate him
so they raise the prices.
Oh you say it's the Saudi's ? World markets ?
Yeah I'm sure it's very complicated.
Which Bush or Cheney doesn't have
a intimate, dare I say kissing, relationship with foreign oil.

**not a real party

Gasoline maybe.

Stomach Gas for sure

Obama biggest recipient of BP cash

BP and its employees have given more than $3.5 million to federal candidates over the past 20 years, with the largest chunk of their money going to Obama, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Donations come from a mix of employees and the company’s political action committees — $2.89 million flowed to campaigns from BP-related PACs and about $638,000 came from individuals.

I like it and I agree with you. Koch brothers are TPTB that we go on about and should fear because they are stripping the planet bare and selling it back to us and they have a hand in the PR that keeps us distracted, divided and stupid enough to go along with it.

I think prices may rise with his approval rating but his approval rating will rise as gas prices go lower.
He is a smart man and I think this might be a false high. Whether it is or not I imagine Obama will free up some reserves (a plan the GOP has always encouraged) and lower the price of gas in time with the next election.

Well it's about supply and demand right? Too much supply and prices go down,,,too little and they go up. So plug the ever expanding population need and the non-war going on in the middle east (wait til Hormuz gets shut down, this should get fun) plus the devaluation of the dollar into the equation and what do you have? A #ed population...

Yep I mentioned that in my OP. He has oil supporters.
It's the big oil that originates from here that I believe
are the forces at work.
