Voting machines have been fixed in Louisiana before. There was instance on the North Shore in the mid-seventies. This particular instance does not
really sound like anything more than it was, a logistical foul up related to the storm. I experienced many glancing blows by hurricanes in my 22
years there. Even when the damage pales in comparison to other locations, it is always considerable.
But back to voting fraud and the long history of dirty politics in Louisiana.
There's an old joke that goes something like this:
Q: Why do they bury the dead above ground in New Orleans?
A: It's easier to get them to the polls.
