Iran has super tough smart concrete:

Iran ‘smart concrete’ to protect N-sites from US bunker busters

As a result, the website said, Iranian engineers are very good at developing “ultra-high performance concrete” (UHPC) which is among the toughest and most rigid building materials in the world.

----

“Unlike conventional concrete, Iranian concrete is mixed with quartz powder and special fibers - transforming it into high performance concrete that can withstand higher pressure with increased rigidity,” the article stated.

Due to its combination, the new Iranian-made concrete is an excellent building material with peaceful applications like the construction of safer bridges, dams, tunnels, increasing the strength of sewage pipes, and even absorbing pollution.

The humane thing to do is to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities. If we let these maniacs who are in charge build a nuke, and they use it, that whole country will be turned to glass. I'm sure there are some people who don't agree with the crazies, but can't do anything about it. They are stuck living the Sharia nightmare and they shouldn't have to pay with their lives. There would be less loss of life if we just take out the facilities.

Quatz doesn't make the concrete any stronger. And fibers are used here in the U.S. also and don't add to the strength of concrete. The fibers are used to control cracking. They were introduced into concrete because they were the waste product of carpet manufacturers. It was the ends they cut off and they were being sent to the dump. Somebody thought they would inhance concrete and they do a little in concrete with low water/cement ratios. It lets the concrete slide easier when being pumped or used in a low slump concrete like for sewer pipes. I don't like it myself because concrete finishers find it's harder to finish and they end up adding water which reduces the strength. To make super dense concrete you need to use a superplatisizer which coats the cement particles and it's like putting a positive charge on them. They repel each other and makes the concrete move like its wetter. Then you need to add silica fume. A biproduct from circuit boards. It's as fine as cigarette smoke and comes in pellets. This fills in all the little voids between the gravel and sand. This technology has been around for a long time and Iranian concrete producers aren't doing anything special that's already been done before.
