The Wish ((A poem))

I wish I could see. That sunshine... I wish I could love with... a pure honesty. Not worrying about betrayal... not worrying about who would backstab me. Loving life.... seeing the rays of hope that were dimly lit upon the surface. I wish I could make them smile... and sing. But alas... all I hear is a deaf ring. Souls are fragile.... hearts are worn... my ears bleed as people mourn. More and more... I wish I could have seen.... the way you stabbed my trust... so easily. The past is the past... I lay to rest my fears.... but I can't stop loving.... perhaps thats why I cry these tears.
