Why are all these american celebs cheering on putin singing?

Im not kidding. I think this video is a couple years old. And if it is, I apologize.. But the the heck. Putin singing horribly, yet a bunch of American celebs are clapping and cheering him on... Man, talk about fueling the fire that Hollywood is socialist.

It's not about how good it sounds, it's about having the stones to sing even though you know you sound bad.
Also it's Putin, if they don't laugh they'll be sent to Siberia.

That's funny because I see Hollywood as center-left than far left. Hollywood still rallies behind the U.S government. Look at the countless war propaganda films that came out of Hollywood studios in the 1940s. Look at Hollywood's cheerleading of the War on Terror and the films made about heroics on 9/11 and other b.s.

If Hollywood were truly left, there would be no films backing the U.S government.

They said it as an unrehearsed performance, but all the backup singers were ready. And there was a male harmony lead to make him sound good. What a bunch up hollywood crap!

One thing I've got to say about Putin: Anytime you see photos of him doing anything recreational, that man goes all out. Golf? *yawn* Putin is out there doing something crazy like wrestling a polar bear with his bare hands. Or diving in some insanely frigid body of water. Everything from kicking butt in his black belt to flying fighter planes...Or even singing some karaoke...

While I realize most of those shots are staged and it's probably all propaganda, I find it highly entertaining. Sometimes I almost wish American politicians would step up their game a notch. I mean, if it's all for show, they ought to be putting on one heck of a spectacle...especially considering how much we have all paid in to said spectacle... Just my opinion.

Note: Not saying I think I want Putin for my leader or president, just saying he seems to have a bit more "personality" than most politicians. I appreciate quirky and eccentric characters
