A moment of your time to draw your attention to a topic very dear to me

This weekend sees the 60th aniversary of " operation market garden "

where every you are what every you are doing , please take a second to remember . not just Arnhem but the sacrifices made in coflicts from the dawn of humanity to the present day

valiant , but doomed attempts to make the lives of others better , at any cost

"As courage and intelligence are the two qualities best worth a good mans cultivation,so it is the first part of intelligance to recognise our precarious estate in life, and the first part of courage to be not at all abashed before the fact"

We should always remember those who gave so much that we who have followed can live in freedom.

Quite right to honor all those who served in that campaign.

I most awed by the heroics of the British Paratroopers in Arnhem. Even when all was lost, they maintained their honor and their dignity.

Three Cheers for all.
