Effective Social Protest In Action

This has been getting some attention over on Livejournal and perhaps needs a bit more -- a courageous woman took on the legion of "street preachers" who show up on subway cars to preach at a captive audience.

She took action. Effective action:

Now... in the spirit of Arlo Guthrie and "Alice's Restaurant," (those of you old enough to recognize that reference) can't you just imagine this happening at a political rally? At other street preachers? At any one of a host of other nuiscances?

Excellent! I must share this with my pal in Brooklyn who adopted a similar tactic that is limited to "Mr. Roboto" by Styx and "The Robot" dance. I have witnessed it and it is most effective.
