IRAN MASS PRODUCING Anti Ship Missiles

Well folks heres a clue to part of the Irani strategy, and tactics.....
Pointed out long ago by The Professional, among others.....
They will slavo missiles at our ships in hopes that the mass attack will be too dense for the anti missile defenses of the fleet.....
Should the SHTF, i believe you will see them try this kind of suicide attack with as many speed boats and missiles as they can muster from shore, air, and boat launched missiles.
Their subs may also try to join in after laying doggo on the bottom of the straits...
They may be equipped with the advanced super sonic shkvaal torpedoes....2000 mph ......
Your thoughts on a possible realistic defense scenario would be appreciated.....
the anti missile capability of the fleet is at present an unknown quantity.....

The idea that Iran has "suicide" boats is laughable.

Disinformation spreads quickly I suppose. Iran will not go out without a fight, but it's not the guilty party here. The US and Israel are the guilty party for pre-emptively attempting to destroy and occupy their country.

If they think that war would be a cake walk, they are really really misinformed.

The Persians invented Chess after all. The terrain in Iran is a logistical nightmare. And they have every right do defend their borders from war mongers.

Excellent find, and as always a thousand anti-ship missiles is a lot cheaper than being bombed and trying to fight a carrier the old fashioned way.

First off, anyone who has read my posts knows that I do not believe that there will be any overt war with Iran in the near future.

With that being said, if the US does enter into a militarized conflict with Iran, Tehran will be facing a multi-front war.

Obviously the border with Afghanistan would be the prime jumping off point for the US since it has countless troops deployed there already, It would just be an about face for those already there.

The second obvious front would be the from witthin the Gulf, which has been hotly contested as we all know in the past few months. You cant read anything on ATS without seeing Hormuz at least once a day.

Now Tehran sits quite far from both of these, and it wouldnt be as easy to just run on up the highway to Tehran as it was to do to Baghdad a few years ago.

What has not been reported as heavily as the Afghn border and the Gulf is the Caspian Sea.
The US has a presence in the Caspian Sea and has allies along its shores.

During the second session of the virtual forum “The Caspian Factor in Eurasia,” Ajdar Kurtov, a senior research associate at the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies, referencing Iranian sources, announced, “The U.S. is training the coast guard of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.” The forum is the foundation of Kurtov’s Central Eurasia project.

“On the shores of the Caspian there are already military objects, built with the support of American ‘well-wishers.’ For example, two radar bases in Azerbaijan — to the north near the Russian border, and in the south, in Astara, near the Iranian border.” He also said a military base was established in Atyrau (Kazakhstan) with financing from the U.S. Department of Defense.

Tehran sits about 100 miles from the shores of the Caspian. There are already US allied coast guards in place and an American presence there. If Tehran falls from overt military action, with naval strikes from sea and with boots on the ground troops, it will come from the Caspian.

But as I have said, I dont believe there will be any overt war with Iran.

Good! I hope that Iran makes enough to make the invaders think twice! I hope both sides wise up and realize that this is nothing to go to war over. Iran has shown remarkable restraint given the provocations they have been against and now we are starting to see them push back a little more. With the self-imposed oil embargo into the EU and now this...great job. They aren't attacking, only getting ready to defend themselves.

Well Said - Iran hasn't done anything and why doesn't Israel allow inspection of their Nuclear Facilities like Iran has. They aren't denying that they have a nuclear program - there's only America ever used Nuclear Arms against another nation and now they are using their illegal drones in Countries they have no right to be in.
The US could do with a few inspections into their Violation of Human Rights issues.

Would they not be better off focusing on anti-air weaponry?

Too expensive and there is no way they can come up with technology to defeat the F-22 so they are taking the other route to make war so expensive for the USA that they wont be able to pay for the gas for the f-22s.

These kinds of postings are either from brain washed, indoctrinated, under educated soldiers from disfunctional unemployed families or from a degenerate video game generation of trained puppets in either case it is a clear demonstration that a world WITHOUT wars is not their aim.

They see it as a huge video game like the way they use their drones from a distance and have no respect for human life or the suffering caused by inhuman morons who turn into cowards in real life situations when the guns are turned on them or their families. 'Oh that's different'

This doesn't make much sense.

In the early 90's Gulf War the Kuwaiti's provided fuel to U.S for free... Gas that American vehicles can actually use.
Since 2003, US has been shipping fuel to Iraq to use because the stuff in Iraq isn't refined the same.

Didn't know it was possible to break the sound barrier underwater with our current technology, especially given sound travels much faster in water than in air.

But they can just move the ships out of the range of Iranian missiles but still launch air-strikes
