In my former line of work I used the deepweb quite a bit and nowadays I use it for personal ventures. That said however, I have never met a Pedo or encountered child porn because I don't go looking for them. Sickos are everywhere, be it the WWW or the deepweb, but for the most part the only way to find them is to actually go looking for them.

Don't let people frighten you with talk about what the deepweb is or isn't. Secure your machine and find out for yourself...just like you did with the WWW. And if you're buying anything, do your research and you won't be ripped off. I've only had one bad transaction over the years (where I have made hundreds of purchases) and in response to that I hired someone to destroy the person who ripped me off, so it was all good in the end.

That's why I like the deeepweb. No rules, no laws, no problems. Just don't be a n00b and you'll be fine.

A lot of people, companies, and researchers use the deepweb to talk to one another.

There is a lot of encrypted sites and some government sites.

I know of one IT that works on sites on servers around the world and uses the deepweb to do it.
When you find his deepweb login page all you find is 6 login boxes and nothing else.

You don't know what boxes are user name or password. and if you type something in the wrong box your IP address get banned automatically

He has a lot of hacker from China getting banned.

The deepweb is also use to run all the commercial wind turbines in the US and to let the repair crews talk to the office and control room.

the CP sites are only found by people searching the deep web because they want to be found.

Oh and if you plan to search the deepweb you should only do it on a linux computer as there is a lot of hacker with there viruses and malware looking for ways to get into computers they find or bait.

I was on the deepweb long before i knew what it was.

I had a DNS Number.search program that looked for "unnamed" DNS sites and found a lot of strange sites.

The Deepweb is the unlisted numbers of the internet.

I too also work in an area of a branch of a division of a area of our government. Much of our communication is done this way. I have yet to land on any cp or any other page I didn't want to see. there are no redirects that I know of. If you have access you'll see it. I give this example. My coworker said hey I saw a ufo at jonesvill I said wheres that he says in Iowa I said where by des Moines I never found it because it wasn't on the map and I didn't know the way. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just means I can't find it, roads are unmarked , no street signs, no gps. Like area 51 it's there if you look. And have directions

I'll tell you this now in all seriousness; there is nothing in deepweb but illegal markets=drugs, and child pornography.
There isn't any ''Classified UFO information'' or anything likely.
The deepweb is easily accessible and in other words like a second /b/, and a paradise for pedophiles with anonymity

It's a fascist scare tactic.

I spent a lot of time on the Undernet IRC network, prior to 2002. That network was well named, believe me; and yes, I spent time among individuals from the online BDSM and gothic roleplaying (Vampire: The Masquerade) scenes, among others. I also spent a lot of my time on the alt.sex.stories text repository site. I spent time on IRC channels devoted to large breast fetishism as well, specifically.

A truly free Internet, as has existed in the past, *is* going to include sexually deviant (or at least unorthodox) material, yes. One of the things which freedom means, is the freedom to sexually express yourself in unusual ways. So that will be there.

However, what will also be there, is information of any number of different kinds, as well. User-created multimedia; often non-pornographic. Fan fiction based on common TV shows. Entirely original fiction. Original, online only reference manuals and guides on computer programming, and information on how to do all kinds of things; some of them subversive, but many of them entirely innocent, like gardening.

The Internet was originally envisioned as a completely neutral, common carrier. That meant accomodating the paedophiles, yes; but it also meant carrying Shakespeare and biographies of Gandhi, as well.

I went into the deep web few times. Not enthusiastic. I share the idea that you have to know someone who host a site to get into "interesting" sites like information sharing communities etc. One good thing of the deep-web is the opportunity given to whistleblower by some platforms like globaleaks.

there are youtube channels that surf the deep web for you to view.
one of them is a youtuber called takedownman. he describes some horrific stuff that lives on the deep web.
another is a youtuber called jim greenway. jim's videos are how to surf the deep web, edit screen shots, and electronic product reviews.

one of the most notorious of the deep web villains is a slime ball named peter scully. the television news show 60 minutes did a story on the scum. caution if you go to view this news segment know that the descriptions of the crimes are very bad.

i happily will stay in my yahoo world.

i have no use for deep web garbage.

mods: if this isnt the right forum please move it

so i recently heard about the "Deepweb" here on ATS and decided to have a little peek at it. For those of you not familiar with the term, read this: en.wikipedia.org...

i didnt venture too far in as i still dont know much about it but within a few minutes of getting into, i discovered it has its own currency as well as other "unsavoury" things which im not sure i can mention on here (if someone could clue me in on that) basically im just wondering what ATS members have found through it, anything bizarre like alleged alien corpses or something lol have at it ATS

your thoughts about deepweb are based on WIKIPEDIA?
lol.
