The pineal gland in our brain secretes melatonin "the hormone of darkness" in diurnal creatures such as humans when the sun sets. Melatonin helps to
regulate the sleep/awake cycle. Once we begin to leave earth for extended amounts of time and we do not have this daily cycle how is this going to
affect our brain in the long term? is there going to be any way to replicate this cycle with supplements? any thoughts?
