You do NOT lose any rights when becoming President, or running for public office. That's a lie.

No one is angry. But if people don't stand up to political propaganda and he people that push it around, then this place will be one big advertising slogan in about 24 hours.

The people pushing for "truth" on this thread are pushing debunked lies and won't engage in an honest discussion about said lies.

If you won't have an honest discussion, then you aren't interested in the truth.

Simple.

If he didn't have anything to hide, he'd release them (transcripts).

He didn't, ergo, he does.

Since there is no reason, it leaves the topic open to speculation as to why.

You may not lose rights, but as a public servant you certainly give up rights to privacy.

So you are also claiming every person who has not posted their private details has something to hide....

So what are you hiding?

Where exactly is that stated in US law?

Dear Obama,
As a voter, as an American, I now formally ask that you provide copies of all you college and school transcripts.
As this is an open, public forum, I hope that this reaches you soon.

Regards,
beez

My opinion of Obama's citizenry doesn't matter.
I think what's more import to know is what was the money behind his presidency, who funded his career, which personal and/or secret and/or family connections and ties got him to where he is today? This is all relevant and our right to know. But this of course a very dangerous can of worms to open because we would have to also look at all past presidents, but also current and past congress, senators, governors, mayors, heads of industry, ambassadors, there would become a point where you'd see a really ugly pattern, the kind you wouldn't even wallpaper a psychopaths room with.

I agree he has some explaining to do, like why he gave the majority of his cabinet seats over to the Goldman cronies or dirty money lobbyists for the military, big pharm, and monsanto.

You obviously do not.

That's a lie. You know that's a lie. That makes you a liar.

You may WANT to see them (for political reasons), but you have NO RIGHT to them.

Common sense dictates.

But if you want law, I'll look up disclosure rulings. Anything for you! As I'm sure you'll follow this track as a way to derail the premise that Obama is hiding something.

Yes I do! I have every right to know who I'm voting for. Education plays a large part in a persons development.

I have a right to know who I want to elect as president.

Do you think this is an interview?
What color is the sky?
What year is it?
Do you remember your first name?

There is NO law anywhere that backs up your claims, but hey, you've acknowledged you have no idea what law it is, you'll go have a look though, which proves you're lying.

How about, next time, before you claim things like, "people running for President give up their rights" you do the research FIRST...?

Tell you what, a better use of your energy would be fighting PROVEN lies, like what are in the OPs source.

Lies that ATS loves to spread around as well.

If anyone has something to hide it's people that refuse to discuss the lies they post and the lies they help propagate.
