A magnitude 6.0 earthquake IN THE FIJI REGION has occurred at:
18.03S 178.80W Depth 564km Mon May 19 10:43:22 2003 UTC

It will be interesting to see how they spray chemtrails when the coronal hole on the sun comes into full effect on the 22nd. They are spraying the sky in my area today. Must be high UV exposure today. Usually anytime its above 6-7 they spray.

Very sudden and significant event in the central US, detected in MO, NM, TX, and SD. I wonder if this is a shock from the New Madrid? Anyone in KY, TN feel anything, or have any info?

IRIS shows a quake in the west coast of Mexico, but nothing in the CONUS.

ALGIERS (Reuters) - A powerful earthquake that struck northern Algeria killed at least 231 people and injured 1,620, state radio said Thursday.

Among the hardest hit was the city of Rouiba to the east of the capital Algiers, it said. The quake measured 6.7 on the Richter scale, U.S. experts said.

ROUIBA, Algeria (Reuters) - Shocked residents in the Algerian city of Rouiba hunted frantically for loved ones through the night Thursday amid the rubble of an earthquake that devastated their homes.

Families, many of them crying, thronged the streets of the town east of the capital Algiers where more than 100 were confirmed dead -- state media put the provisional death toll from Wednesday evening's tremor at at least 250.

"It is catastrophic. I have never seen such a disaster in my life. Everything has collapsed," Yazid Khelfaoui, who lost his mother in the quake, told Reuters in Rouiba, rubble all around him. The apartment building he lived in has collapsed.

It is.

It was supposed to arrive around May 15, but there was never any evidence that it was coming.

My personal suspicion is that if anything kicks off, it will likely involve the New Madrid Zone as it hasnt been significantly active in almost 200 years, which means it has built up an enormous amount of seismic energy.

A 4.4 mag in South Dakota (which is generally regarded as being a rather seismically stable area).... very unusual...

Is all of this activity generally abnormal? I remember hearing something about constant seismic activity- I could be mistaken.

Nice catch with regard to HAARP, especially since one of the quakes happened IN alaska. I wonder what they've been doing lately, up there.

There is always some level of constant seismic activity in the world, and granted, I am not a seismologist, so I am not the best one to ask on the subject (I specialize more in petroleum and environmental geology)

However, I just like to keep track of what is happening (I personally am worried about potential quakes in the New Madrid Seismic Zone, that could be far worse than anything we have yet recorded in history).

What I do find interesting is correlating what seismic activity we find with other factors, such as geomagnetic storms, solar flares, and HAARP transmissions, which I believe are all having an interlocking effect.
