The Keystone pipeline was a farce, designed to jack up prices. As the prospectus put out by the TransCanada stated, the sole purpose of the pipeline was to relieve the GLUT of tar sands crude at Midwestern refineries and putting pressure on Big Oil to LOWER prices. The solution? Pipe the oil to under-utilized southern refineries so they could KEEP THOSE OIL PRICES INFLATED.

The sad part is how gullible the sheep are, even when TransCanada's own documents show just what they wanted the pipeline for, they still think it's "about jobs". Pays to have a 24/7 propaganda network like FOX pushing these lies.

Even sadder is how easily divided Issa and the GOP congress is making the US by cramming this theocratic-driven agenda down our throats, even worse they would exclude testimony by WOMEN over this issue - the patriarchs have spoken, eh?

So, you are saying that a larger supply, more evenly distributed, will cause an increase in prices? You may want to explain that to economists.

Of course TC will make money off the project. Why would they do the project if they wouldn't? Of course, they will make money of the distribution, but why let facts get in the way of a good hate fest?

What's really sad is what the price of oil is estimated to be in 2020, if there isn't a major increase in supply capability. China and India are not going to stop developing. They will have no problems out bidding the west for oil in the near future. That will drive prices to places we never even thought possible before. (If you think prices are bad now, wait until demand is greater than supply - estimated to occur in 2015 by the US, and 2014 by the EIU).

Not that I really care much. Canada will win either way...we have the oil. But, it would have been nice to have our closest ally as the secondary benefiter, not China or India.

Stop playing the victim card. It's sad and it won't work.

Look, as much as you would like to blame the President for everything you disagree with in the world today, that hardly makes it true.

$7 a gallon gas, if it indeed comes to pass, would not in any way be the sole fault of the President and/or his policies and most americans are smart enough to realize that truth. Hell, the other day I read a thread where the current Falkland Island issue was somehow his fault. What, does he run the U.K. too? Is there anything that is not the Presidents fault?

Furthermore, in case you hadn't noticed, the economy is slowly getting better and the GOP has apparently decided that it's their religious ideology imposed upon others that they will use to influence voters to support their nominee. Hardly a winning stance, if you ask me.

Actually the President has declared war on drilling in the U.S. and even went so far as to kill the pipeline. He has already said that he was okay with people paying more for gas, so yes it is his fault. Second, just because we see some doctored numbers does not mean that the economy is getting better. On the contrary almost everyone I talk to, especially SMB owners are telling a very different tale. This President and his socialist ilk are so anti-business that it is disgusting.

Bingo!

Obama is an anti-capitalist.

We need to push a capitalist in the front door of the White House January 20, 2013.

The Keystone Pipeline is ready to go.

It turns out they have already bought the actual pipes to build it.

All they need is a green light from Washington DC.

FYI, the Keystone XL has already started construction between Oklahoma (Cushing) and Houstan/Port Arthur.

They have also started in Alberta (Hardisty and south).

Oklahoma to Steele City, and Steele City to Wood River/Patoka will follow.

It's not a question of 'when' Keystone will start, it is a question of 'which' path it will follow fro Hardisty to Steele City.

And when it's completed, get ready to fork over even more money at the pump. TransCanada's presentation to investors laid out exactly WHY the pipeline was needed - and it ain't to reduce American dependance on foreign oil or to create jobs.

Keystone XL is an export pipeline. According to presentations to investors, Gulf Coast refiners plan to refine the cheap Canadian crude supplied by the pipeline into diesel and other products for export to Europe and Latin America. Proceeds from these exports are earned tax-free. Much of the fuel refined from the pipeline’s heavy crude oil will never reach U.S. drivers’ tanks.

Key Facts on Keystone XL

The LAST thing Big Oil wants is tar sands oil to reach Midwestern refineries - where it would PUSH gas prices down. Instead they desperately want this crude to reach the refineries in Houston, so it can be exported to foreign markets, untaxed I might add, and KEEP THE GAS PRICES IN AMERICA SHORED UP.

By draining Midwestern refineries of cheap Canadian crude into export-oriented refineries in the Gulf Coast, Keystone XL will increase the cost of gas for Americans.

Keystone XL pipeline = higher gas prices.

That is the bog scam behind it, and like usual the elite say jump, and the sheep jump.

Even FOX 'news' recognizes a bad deal when they see it.

So you don't see anything absurd about a group of men trying to make decisions for all women without their input?

Wow, whatever happened to DENYING IGNORANCE?

I guess that is what women get when they try to blow a hole through their perceived reality that only irresponsible teenagers use birth control and that there is never a legitimate reason outside of preventing conception...or that becoming pregnant could be deadly to some women.
just as the little women's message was silenced by the committee, it seems that the message has been replace by the keystone pipeline and obama's chance of reelection on this thread...
silence women!! we don't want to hear it....

so now, we have santorum taking hits at prenatal testing.....all in the guise that they are protecting the unborn!!!
never mind that some of this testing might save a women's life here and there, or that when it comes time to pay for the healthcare for all those severely disabled kids they would save, heck they would prefer the family face that one on their own......

but..shh....or you'll blow up the perfect little world that they have created in their mind!!! Silence is golden!!!

The Republicans are supporting gender equality. For the last 20 years, Democrats and their Feminist agents have sabotaged and suppressed the male birth control pill(in order for women to retain a reproductive monopoly).

This whole debate is very amusing if you look at it through a Gender Equality lens. One the one hand you have democrats and Female Supremacist's demanding special privileges(private law's) for women, and Republicans are the only ones supporting gender equality.

Because after all, women still have access to a female condom, sterilization or abstinence(the three options Feminist and Traditionalist gal's like to gloat about in regards to male reproduction rights).

Women do it all the time. Look at the 12 year old boy's who are raped by 30-40 year old women and how they are made to pay child support to their rapist's.

Simple fact is, this is the traditionalist noose I tried to warn people about a little bit ago(not sure if I spoke about it on this website). By limiting the male reproductive rights and abilities(excessive child support, support of paternity fraud, support of parental alienation, support of rampant anti-male discrimination in the courts) the traditionalist kept the "mojo" of traditionalism alive.

And because of how tempting they made it for women to go along with it, instead of continuing the anti-traditionalism revolution to it's natural conclusion(the liberation of males from traditionalism), traditionalism in the minds of the populace was kept alive. It may only have been kept as an ember, but it was kept alive with the help of the state, church, feminism, leftist's in general, neoconservatives and traditionalist's.

Heck many who protest against this have time and time again demanded that such traditionalism be forced upon men. And they have often used shaming language(psychological abuse) to uphold traditionalism in boy's and men.

People don't understand how it is related. Me personally after dealing with a lot of smug traditionalist lite folks(people who love traditionalism as long as only boy's and men are held to it) here I find this AMUSING AS HECK!(in a slightly sad/depraved kind of way)*

"I-TOLD-YOUS-SO!"

Have a nice day.

korathin

The traditionalist's/Church's long term goal is to expand upon it to the point it over lapses and drags women into it(hold males to such a high, extreme standard while giving female the vagina pass for a long enough time and their will be an explosive demand for "equality", forcing females into the same system.).

Tactics like these by the Church/traditionalist's I call "the traditionalist's noose". As they will allow for traditionalist to turn the clock backwards in regards to gender rights and traditions/customs. And since feminist's are such blind female supremacist male hating bigots, they will gladly fall for the noose time and time again. Because when you allow or engage in the dehumanization of another person you yourself become dehumanized as well.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

korathin
The traditionalist noose is tightening, granted traditionalist's are just as big man-haters as feminist's, but it will be amusing to see what is going to happen next as traditionalist's begin to accelerate their pogrom in fear of a male revolt in the face the outright female supremacist undertones of our society.

Women fell for the traditionalist trap laid in the late 70's(after the ERA failed to pass). Because you have to remember these traditionalist's are often more insane or just as insane as the most extreme leftist lesbian seperatist feminist. The bait was put down in the 90's with the zeal to uphold men's "traditional" responsibilities, albeit the ones that benefited women(financial) . Well there is a funny thing called balance, something which always tries to exert itself.

You have to understand that the reason why traditionalist's go along with the whole man-hating thing is because if they didn't they wouldn't be able to turn the clock back. And if you can't see how this is relevant, then it just means your predisposed to being run over by the forces of History instead of being able to see the flow and getting out of the way.

Granted you have to sort through some rhetoric but, bleh.
