Does anyone with any legal expertise know if there are any criminal charges that can come of this? This seems to me to be fraud, plain and simple.

Those who are responsible should be held accountable and should face criminal charges for what they have done.

This is a party event...it's not a government election.

No laws are broken...the GOP doesn't even have to hold these caucuses...they could just pop someone into the nomination as they please. They only hold these to give voters some say in the process...but they aren't bound to anything legally.

If you are part of a club...any club...and you guys hold a vote to see who will hold some position in the club and find out someone cheated in the vote...can you have him brought up on charges??? No...and this is the exact same thing.

Her coverage is largely unbiased, I don't think she is using this as a pro- or anti-Ron Paul platform, just reporting on the facts behind the corrupt primary "voting" in Maine. It's too bad you won't see the bigger network FOX 'news' touch this story, but then again the GOP party bosses all have consulting/speaking gigs on Fox, especially since another FOX talking head, Sarah Palin had this to say:
Sarah Palin: GOP nominee will be picked by bosses, not voters.

In a fair election, Ron Paul would trounce the likes of Romney, Gingrich, or Santorum.

If her coverage was unbiased she wouldn't be a host on MSNBC. Her's isn't a news program, it's an opinion program, and she's decidedly leftist/socialist. I have no problem with her expressing her opinion, just making the point.

I disagree. You act like being a democrat gives you some amazing insight. I was a democrat that voted for Obama up until last year when I changed to GOP to support RP.

I have always liked Maddow. She is calling it out because it's obvious. You are just too full of hot air to see it. The Obama charm must have lodged deep in your brain in 08.

Undeniable Mathematical proof South Caorlina primary was Rigged!

What is more disturbing about this thread isn't the subject matter directly, but the responses.
People simply have trouble understanding why maddow would bring this to light...

Reflection is a term used by psychologists to describe people whom assume others do what they do. aka, everyone is on drugs type thing (when its them who is the drug addict). People are suprised that someone whom is not a hardcore conservative would be posting truth about a republican that actually favors them...

This only means that if you personally do not favor the movement, you will gladly keep quiet and let crimes go on..so long as it works for your agenda.

very unhealthy outlook on life..don't try to question Maddow for having integrity, question yourself for questioning why people have integrety.

Maddow is a liberal..she states it loudly and proudly. She is also honest and will call foul when there is a foul, no matter which side it suits. If you can't understand that mindset, then you follow, and have adopted a criminal mindsets

No, she is not pulling for Ron Paul. But she is pulling for truth, and of course its fun for her to shine a light on what a complete disaster the GOP has become.

I hate to agree but Maddow is for sure not on RP's side in anyway. I believe she is mostly discrediting the GOP before the Nomination as much as possible and as soon as the Presidential election starts she will start pointing out all the Voting Fraud/Disorganization (whatever you want to call it) leading up to the nomination of the GOP Candidate.

The Positive thing this does though is puts RP and Doug Weed (she luvs him) in front of the American people and that is what we need. If her viewers (probably mostly Obama supporters) start hearing about this Ron Paul guy than that person will start actually listening to the Crazy RP supporter at her job that keeps bugging them to at least look at what he says. Now that Maddow (and probably a lot of Olberman fans as well) will think "wow, she is talking about him so maybe I should take a look".

This is really a Positive thing because as soon as a person hears the truth they start to become RP supporters and once you are your there for life. Like many have said on here, I would gladly take a bullet for this man.

That's seriously your contribution? Are you sure you don't want to find "666" in Romney + Cheney? Aim for the fence.

She may be pulling for RP over Romney thinking that Romney has a better chance of beating Obama.

Conservatives want Obama out so they will vote any republican nominee and Paul would get more votes from liberals then any other republican nominee.

Do the math, if you don't like Obama, vote for Paul.

So has Outkast Searcher finally admitted that he is an Obama supporter because I have been trying to drag that out of him for weeks!

It's been obvious for a long time, but I have seen posts by him in the past taking pro Dem/Obama stance. I thought it was just pretty much known. Outkast acts like being liberal/dem has given them some profound insight, but I think that most people start off in that category and move away from it as they gain more common sense. I was a proud liberal for a long time until I realized that I didn't like having that tag. I still have a lot of liberal views and am definitely not a GOP conservative (would have never been a member if I didn't have to be to vote for Paul). It took Obama being an utter disappointment to move me away from the Dem party. After the primary I will be moving back to indie for the rest of my life.

I'm trying to find where there is a federal law requiring primaries. As far as I can tell, parties just stopped appointing candidates and started holding primaries.

Just more examples of Republican deceit, lies, rhetoric and voter fraud! The Republicans are still self destructing since the Bush Years, not rebuilding at the grass roots level.
What happened to honesty, integrity working towards the greater good?
Shame, Shame.

I can't watch the video, but I can't imagine that Maddow is a Ron Paul fan? Does she really advocate for him in the video and admit he was robbed in Maine?

Maddow you will find, is always saying what she believes to be true.

She doesn't have to be an advocate for ANYONE to call a rigged election, rigged.

>> And I support an investigation, and think it's very LIKELY that the RNC would be rigging the vote against Ron Paul. I don't support Ron Paul -- but I'll fight for YOUR RIGHT to get your votes counted.

Any time someone want's to silence YOU or your candidate -- I'm on your side. And I think a lot of Progressives and Liberals will say the same thing. We have to honor the system, have integrity, and be able to push our own agendas, otherwise nobody has any faith and we descend into anarchy.

The Shenanigans going on with this election and the ROBBING of Ron Paul's win are not an issue for just Ron Paul supporters -- they are an issue for All Americans. Anyone rigging the vote in Maine or any other state, needs to get beaten to a pulp and thrown in prison for life. It's the greatest sort of treachery to our system of governance and to the people of this country.

I've practice extensively with throwing my shoe, so I don't think I will EVER miss George H. W. Bush.

>> By they way, I agree with your point -- but I suggest that you leave out the "partisan" part of it, because RIGHT NOW, we are all Ron Paul supporters on this issue.

In a way, this is actually a good thing to take place -- because the Ron Paul folks are finally getting a taste of what the Dems had Progressives have been screaming about since 2000. Gore won with a landslide -- but at LEAST 6 states had massive voter fraud. The Republicans only picked up votes in Florida in precincts that had electronic voting machines.

It's time to make Allies -- and I think, regardless of our disparate "ideologies" all of us can agree that Election Fraud is a great crime to us all. We need to focus on our common interests instead of what separates us. The Same ELECTION RIGGING that took away Ron Paul's win in this state, will take away representation for someone else on another election day.

People who rig elections SHOULD have to live in fear, not shrug it off and have another martini with a lobbyist.
