the mothman in point pleasant, and the japanese tengu. are they related?

first off, i cant find the crypto thread so mods get the uhaul truck over here. i have or have had a back issue of journal of asian martial arts and i read about a british journalist seeing a tengu in japan. in wikipedia you will see a few images that have similarity to the mothman one in perticular is yo#oshi mount yoshino midnight moon a wood block print. its about sasaki no kiyotaka's tormented ghost. also emperor sutoku appeared as a tengu much like chief cornstalk linking a curse with the mothman. are these creatures similar?

Don't know. They could be. Hard to say what they were doing, and whether it was similar or in league.

I remember those amazing "paranormal" videos after Fukashima on the news. View from a helicopter, you can clearly see something white rising from the water - zipping 20 feet forward, then darting in zig zag 90 degree angles.

Who knows what that was though.
