Can you perhaps make a poll...

I little more search (research) and a little less conclusion jumping goes a long way. These three survey results will help:

Survey Results: Occupy Wall Street

ATS Survey Results: The U.S. Debt Crisis

ATS Survey Results: President Barack Obama

I will make one point, from a global perspective ATS is more right wing than left wing. Anybody with exposure to global politics in democracies will tell you this. Perhaps its more equal when looking at it as an American, but thats because US politics leans further to the right.

Why did you feel the need to attack me, this analysis was perfect! I know the world is more leftist than America. We do talk about Right Wing politics on here thanks to the election and all, but then everyone attack everything we stand for instead of actually analyzing what we say or saying our ways are outdated.

If you read my post, that email came in within the last two weeks.

There are others like it... pretty much equally distributed from both sides of your artificial political fence.

Can you perhaps make a poll about right or left topics and see where members stand? Do you have a poll like this in existence. I would be very interested in analyzing that.

Doing this might help ease tensions from either far left or far right members that this site is not bias like so many claim.

Skepticoverlord. Since the OP is under the impression you have nothing but free time on your hands, asking you to do a personal ATS poll just for him. I too, would like a poll of single over 60 men for me.

OP, do you see how silly what you are asking sounds......

Ah... a hint.

The media would have you believe, and work their hardest to make it true, that the "voters" are divided in half between those they label conservative or liberal.

The division is artificial and a product of the rhetoric designed to fuel the deceptive divide so as to keep the "sides" arguing about how terrible the other side is, rather than actual reasonable solutions to serious problems.

lol, how is this anything else than a rant? there is usually a reason as to why posters prefer not to align with conservatism, and just because that doesnt suit you it doesnt mean the site is biased. I agree with you though, that mods can be biased, but that accusation requires a better argumentated case.

Thank you and I have seen those threads participated in the OWS one. I think maybe you should do another one as the hype around them is now gone, see how people feel about them now! You should do polls about Cops, or Israel, or any of the other topics I mentioned as well. That data would be a great asset to have.

As long as you have bought into any form of government there is, and been programmed to embrace any "ISM" at all, you are harming others. We need a world without wars, inequality, starvation, without forced slave labor to corrupt corporations, with mercy and compassion to all people and equality, AND AT THE SAME TIME, full freedom of expression, rights to homes, land, individuality, movement, speech, actions (that do not harm others), to use and express our talents or service to others, ie can be educated and work in any field that interests us or not if we are raising families and doing that work, everyone respected, with full access to all the herbs and resources of this planet and good nutrition, non GMO food, with transparency and truth, no patents and copyrights, equality always. Freedom ANd Equality.

There is not a system on earth like that.

And I don't vote for any form of government or corruption on this planet, would speak up and express to anyone elected that I met that I feel the need to perform a citizens arrest and that they need to make U-Turns for they will be held accountable.

So wake up. And get out of the ISMS. We're repsonsible for what we're allowing our corrupt leaders and even the shadow government to do.

You have an illogically low threshold for what you consider to be an attack.

No, why can't I request polls about users beliefs about certain touchy topics? It's not personal.

Leftist? Really? Every day I read about how awesome Ron Paul is; about how Jews are running America; about how evil socialism is; about how Obama is a Kenynan, Muslim, fascist, CIA agent. These are not things that generally considered leftist (though there certainly plenty of leftist anti-Semites)

So you want more hype over the left right issue???? I'm not sure I really understand your problem. Ther is enough divisiveness in the mainstream media without promoting it on here, a place we come to to escape the MSM manipulation.

I have noticed when people simply
do not like the topic of the thread
*(like a anti-homosexual topic)*
THEY ALERT THE HELL OUT OF IT..
The mods have to do something when
they are getting probably 100+ alert
complaints.. I think it is a wussy way
for some people to bully the conservatives..

Not really the mods fault.

well it only took 2 hours for this post to be moved to the rant section. I guess pointing out bias on the site is a bad thing. Keeping people ignorant and not allowing them to hear all sides of the issues.

Hm, maybe your right, but do you really think a post like this or a post supporting the one percent gets 100+ alerts? That would be interesting...

I have never seen a post about anti homosexuals on this site btw.

There is a big difference between pointing out, as you call it, and an all out rant fest. Your OP was a rant fest. Your thread is now in the correct forum.

How is it a rant? I am pointing out bias? Please point to where it is a rant.

I guess pointing out bias on the site is a bad thing.

Your opinionated rate is not supported by any facts.

Keeping people ignorant

Your intolerance and unawares is showing.

...and not allowing them to hear all sides of the issues.

The topic is not deleted, just moved to the appropriate forum.

You can't be serious with that? If conservatives were 50% of the voting public, there would be no Democrats in office! Reality is that people that always vote Republican and people that always vote Democrat are not the majority, even when combined. Elections are decided by fence sitters; Moderates who may vote for Bush on election, Obama the next, and so on. This is the majority; moderates, independents, libertarians, ect.

Even then, although the actual majority, still not 50% of the voting public.
