Honestly, what we need is magnetics.

The magnetics would create the energy, and then something else (possibly more magnetics) to boost and/or enhance the energy.

Magnetics can do almost anything.

but magnetics generate almost all electricity today. A generator is just a coil turning in a magnetic field ,wheter it is turned by water, steam, etc...

Previously, breakthroughs in new energy has been swept under the rug. The climate is different today than it was a half century ago. For the longest time, oil was king, and anything that dare knock it down was quashed instantly. Those that did discover new energy technologies or applications were slandered and discredited, because who would dream of a day where oil just might run out, and who would ever imagine not having the gas to fuel his '72 Hemi 'Cuda? Things are different now, people want and need an alternative. Personally, I do not feel that we will see widespread application of a personal, household zero-point energy source any time soon. There will be a supply chain for whatever energy source we do concentrate on. For instance, natural gas or hydrogen powered vehicles. Certainly there are better alternatives, but those alternatives do not need a supply chain, and without that, there would be no need to fuel up anywhere. While this is great for everyone, having a car that could run on pure water for instance, this is not good for the capitalist or for the governments that his cash will go to. Already, oil and gas companies are transitioning into alternative energies, but they aren't going to spend a great deal on something that won't benefit them. Like pharmaceutical companies trying to "treat" cancer rather than trying to cure it, the energy industry is only looking for a treatment, not a cure. I do think that this new discovery will benefit other technologies, but it won't bring us that much more independence. Perhaps, though, it could help to give merit to the focus on alternative energies and innovative technology, and open people's eyes that we shouldn't have to rely on primitive fuel sources.

This is actual science, conducted by actual scientists, who are putting their research into public domain and allowing peer review. Why would there be shills? Believing Rossi to be a fraud when he refuses to go through the normal scientific process does not a shill make. This is fascinating research, gj OP.

So you think people dedicating time, energy, and money into creating new sources of energy are going to want to make money off of it? Bastards!!! I wish they could be like you and me and just do volunteer work and never expect to make a dime!!
