Hello All. My name is Alex aka RagnarokZ. A few yars ago I randomly bought a book by David Icke (guide to the global conspiracy) and since then my mind and eyes have been opened to all the wierd stuff going on on the world. guess you could say I "swallowed the red pill". Coming from a family of loyal workaholics and military I have not had many family members or even friends that believe what i tell them is going on in the world [except my little brother] So I have tended to keep my mouth shut and drive myself crazy. That is why I am very happy I have found this great website. Please could somebody help me and explain what all the little numbers mean next to everyone user name, I get the first one is points but cant seem to find anywhere that tells me what the others mean.
Any help, Much appreciated. Thanks.

RagnarokZ

Hi. Welcome to ATS.

P= Post Count.
F= Flags; people will "flag" your threads if they think they're noteworthy.
S= Stars; people will "star" your individual posts if they think they're noteworthy.
W= The points you've earned toward the "Way Above Top Secret" forum (i think).
K= Karma...not sure what's up with that.

Welcome to ATS!

Funnily enough, there are quite a few members on ATS with a military background...That's the great thing about ATS. You'll find people from all walks of life.

The numbers stand for 'Posts' (total amount of posts you've made), 'Flags' (total amount of threads that you've flagged & 'Stars' (total amount of stars you've given to posts).

Enjoy your stay & hope you find the answers you're looking for mate.

P = Points:

F = Flags:

S = Stars:

W = WATS Index:

K = Karma

The above basically illustrates to the other members your ranking by the number of posts and threads you submit, the quality of those comments, and the positive tone of those comments. Now let me do the 25 cent introduction...

AboveTopSecret is much like a theme park with many, many rides, so with that said...

Here's a few thoughts before getting onto any one of the 1000's of topical rides at Above Top Secret (ATS), the world's largest Civil & Unique Discussion Community.

* Please check out those links posted above before getting on one of the rides. This will save you a lot of future stress, frustration and possible action by one of your friendly neighborhood Mods!

* Please be sure to act like an 'civil' adult and are at least this tall to get on any of the rides, (Johnny stretches his arm outward).

* Please remember that some members are very passionate and vocal depending on what ride your all on. You should be mentally fit, stable and have a strong stomach for theories, conjecture, research and evidence presented that may be contrary to your own.

* Please be "open-minded" enough to understand that sometimes the ride isn't always what you might expect. Be aware you also might end up learning something new and 'out-of-the-box' before you get off the ride.

* Please note that at times the ride gets overly-heated and "it's strongly suggested" to get off the ride to regroup one's thoughts before continuing. This will also help guarantee that the ride will move forward without getting derailed or explode into a fiery trashbin.

* Please have fun! But be aware that if you act in an uncivil-like manner, use profanity, intentially spread a hoax and/or get verbally abusive, you will be removed off the ride by a Moderator. This is not only for your safety, but also for those both young and old on the ride with you.

So buckle up, keep your arms within the ride's comfort zone, have fun and "Deny Ignorance"...!

Hello and welcome !

One word of advice , don't believe that any one person holds the key to insight . Also , never except what a " truther " , or anyone else for that matter , states as fact .... Until you CHECK IT FOR YOURSELF !!

It's very possible for a person to mix truth with lies and very often when a person hears a truth they like it so much that it makes it very easy to toss in small lies and have them excepted as truth .

Thanks for all your advice and for everyone that was confused about the K and W here it is:

Karma is influenced most by a stars-to-post ratio, with a minor influence from flags.
WATS is influenced most by a flag-to-post ratio, with a minor influence from stars and post-count.

thanks to SkepticOverlord (for answer) and jerryznv (for providing link to answer)
