isn't this the method of all rational thought and scientific observation?
if A brings about B, then that is proof that A and B are connected. if A does not bring about B, then our hypothesis is incorrect.
when newton hypothesized gravity, he used a (theoretical) model in order to predict gravitational events. then he tested these hypothesis's and would
find that they either PROVED his theory, or disproved it, in which case he says "forget it" to his old model/hypothesis and makes a new one.

looks like more "I know things that other people don't"....maybe a philosophy class could help people with these basic laws of logic &
knowledge?
no one does critical thinking anymore. they're just "brainwashed into thinking for someone else", as my band's lyrics would predict.
