So as the United States Government
claims Federal Laws are superior to State Laws,
and continue to file lawsuits against all the States for laws they create.
I see within our future they will remove the stars from that flag that is,
Red White and Blue!
And then after that change the blue square,
where the Stars of States once were.
To match the color of the ruling party for that term,
Democrat or Republican in office, Red or Blue
How Can A Flag
that does not represent,
The States anymore
Be called
The United States Flag?

I like your point and agree with your sentiment, but I think
there are 'laws' of sorts against changing the flag as it currently is.

I think it would be a powerful statement to make one and hang it though.

I see, you are just raising a red flag.

I think the current administration would love to have just one star on the flag.

The wide-area government can't stand any individualisms.

The love to tell you what's good for ya, but will never disclose or discuss the failures.

Maybe they want the flag to look like this someday:

I think the
Federal Government
is trying to secede from the States,
and We The People.

Our flag should be all black... The opposite of surrender!

On a side note, we don't have any real historical evidence on who created the flag, or what it actually means. The colors and stripes are technically all assumed.

If they can bypass/change/amend the Constitution,
they can the flag.

People voted for change, they could change the flag.

Naw, they don't need to get rid of the stars on the flag....all they have to do is surround the stars with barbed wire.

Wow...you and a majority of the other posters here are a little short on faith and creativity.

Yes, yes...they may indeed change it, but I think for the better:

It appears some countries have gone through several flag changes.

German Flag History:
The current German flag was adopted on May 9, 1949. The German flag has actually been used at least three times in German history. It was adopted in 1848 and was abolished in 1852. It was then readopted as the flag of the Weimar Republic on August 11, 1919, and again abolished on March 12 1933, when it was replaced by the flag of the Third Reich. The German flag was also used by the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) until 1959, but a coat of arms to it from 1959 to 1989. Germany separated into two countries after the Second World War and reunited on October 3, 1990, and this flag was chosen.

Interesting German Flag Facts:
The colors of the German flag now represent the unification of Germany.

From 1935 to 1945, the German flag featured a red background with a black Swastika in the middle of it on a white circle.

The former East German flag (1959 to 1989) featured Communist emblems on it.

Mexican Flag History:
The current Mexican flag was adopted on September 16, 1968. Mexico gained independence from Spain on September 21, 1821, and at that time introduced a basic flag of green, white and red diagonal stripes. The Mexican coat of arms - which represents the 1325 founding of the Aztec capital Tenochtitlán (on the site occupied by Mexico's modern capital, Mexico City) - was added in 1823. The coat of arms has changed several times since then and this has resulted in several modifications to the Mexican flag.

Interesting Mexican Flag Facts:
In Mexico the flag is often called the Bandera Nacional.

The flag is obviously going to be changed too

OT: I don't think the flag will be changed within my life time, but I don't doubt the through the course of human history it certainly will someday.

Ah....another misleading title. You are speculating on a change, not the actual changing of the flag as you have suggested in your title.

ATS....where speculation is truth.

Gmoneycricket, You need somekinda proof stars are being removed from the American flag, honestly I care less if it happened but at least show some sources for such a bold statement on why the Gov is changing the flag. I haven't seen any politicial or government related sources that mention the flag changing, nothing-nada..

Imma just say it, like it needs to be said: WE'RE PATHETIC. Who cares about a flag, what country you're from, what language you speak? We're all from the same place........PLANET EARTH. Let's make a flag, with her picture on it.

Until we snap out of this 'fairytale'....NOTHING will change, no matter how many renovations "they" make! IT'S ALL AN ILLUSION!!!! An ILLUSION, to keep us IGNORANT.; and it's got the whole world....mesmerized!!!!
