If race doesn't exist why are there policies to fight Racism?

If race does not exist which many people say is true then why are polices in place to fight bigotry against groups that do not exist? If t does not exist then we are fighting a psychological construct, so why aren't ginger haired people also protected when they suffer extreme bigotry, also short people, bald people, fat people, very thin people,
people with big noses, amputees, based on religion, alternative religion wiccan etc, teckies, art history graduates, people who study media studies.....

Race does exist; it is a label *created from imaginary boundaries. If people say race does not exist, they probably mean we are all human and race is just another label amongst all of our differences.

If race is said to exist I suppose it is primarily about skin colour, I say that hair colour is just as important and so ginger people should be protected from bigotry under international law. If it is a social construct then why aren't ginger haired people, short people, fat people, thin people, amputees, ill people, people with unusual religions wicca...protected.

Because racism happens.

Race can refer to ones ethnic origins, which certainly do exist.

Saying race doesn't exist is a way of saying we're all human.

Being fat is not a race. It's not like you come from the Fat People Tribe Or FPT

Of course there are races. But racism is something different..

It is a shakedown operation- it is an excercise in a grab for power and money.

They exist to perpetuate division and create fifedoms, in the west those in the black/asian community who realise this and seek to profit have, sadly, many willing whites who facilitate them under meaningless phrases such as "diversity"

People always state that geneticists do not believe in race. They do not state this as a point of view, or a social construct but as a scientific view point. This is mainly said from people who want to eliminate racism, if it does not exist then racism does not exist either. Why does a skin colour take presidence over a hair colour. Ginger haired people will eventually die out due to there being too small a population, and decades of bigotry. Why should a large population be helped instead of a small dying one. Ginger haired people need saving, genetic engineering to make more, given money to have more children.. together...

true, diversity should be encouraged, as it is, white people are not growing in numbers in Africa and Asia, perhaps this is where the focus should be
