Mods, I didn't know in which forum to post this, so please feel free to shift it. Just discovered these beautiful photos by German photographer Markus Reugels. He places an upside-down picture in the background and then shoots the water drops in the foreground; the background picture will be mirrored in the water. Love it.

He also does other photos; here's a bit of milk or cream dropped in water:

Amazing! I really like the Earth and the Globe. Too bad they're too small for a wallpaper.

those are beautiful, Sylvie!
A few years ago I got an email where someone photographed water droplets in a garden and their reflections of the flowers, it was gorgeous.

I wish I could afford a camera that could do that.

thanks for sharing !

beautiful pics, but I was expecting something different, like the life that exists in waterdrops, but no matter, the photos you posted are beautiful and artistic

This is a beautiful example of how a talented
photographer can be creative and produce
amazing images. Love them - especially the
one with the cream added to the water for
effect. Thank you OP!

Photoshop but such a dope idea nonetheless. Trying to capture that with just normal optics would be a beast of a job I'd imagine
