I'm a Lunar-tic! I've been involved with the moon since the early 1980s when I became a lunar successful anomaly investigator. I've spent countless hours poring over NASA photos, large and small, and when the Internet caught on I looked at tons of more images and videos, always looking for that real lunar anomaly which I never found.

Now I've been turned on to a lunar video that lasts 1-1/2 hours and it covers a lot of territory (no pun intended) although it's restricted to one mission, the Apollo 11. You see the elusive color footage shot with a hand-held movie camera from inside the Lunar Module although why the camera was not taken to the lunar surface I can't explain. I was enjoying the video when in the segment that starts at 37:47 it starts with a slow left to right scan showing the surface and the horizon. I started to notice flashes in the black sky and I backed up the video a lot of times trying to catch the flashes and backing it up to freeze the frame so that I could take a photo of the monitor with my digicam. Unfortunately, the quality of the vidcaps is not really good enough to see the flashes as clearly as when watching the video.

The first flash is of a blue one and the other three are white flashes. You can see the flashes and possibly others that I may have missed. To help you I include the time that is shown on the lower time toolbar. You gotta pay attention 'cause the flashes are dim and fast lasting a fraction of a second. I provide thumbnails 'cause I uploaded large images that may not reproduced completely on this page. The last image is of a white UFO as it enters from the lower left corner and travels up at an angle.

Film taken includes scenes taken out Lunar Module (LM) window documenting lunar surface Extravehicular Activity (EVA) and LM ascent, rendezvous and maneuver for docking during lunar orbit. Also includes views from the Lunar Module (LM) during descent and landing on moon, Neil Armstrong descending to lunar surface, scenes out LM window during ascent and approach with CSM.

Color film shot hand-held through Lunar Lander's window, showing the surface below, a slow pan from left to right starting at 37:47 to 38:44 & starts again.

The top center white light is constant and may also be seen on bottom center.

I couldn't find the websites that post photos showing these flashes as still images but this YouTube video shows blue "UFOs".
