Strange object on the surface of Mars., page

I first saw this picture on a link posted by mother1138 on the thread After Image Of 'Alien Craft' On Mars, NASA Cuts Mission.
So thankyou to that member.

This is the link to the source, which has a nice high resolution version of the photo. If you want to examine the photo for yourself I suggest getting it from here as it will be a better quality then the one I uploaded.



A few things I find weird about this object:

1. It is a much lighter colour than anything else in the picture.
2. It is sitting on top of a crater which means it must have somehow moved there as the natural formations in the rock would have been flattened on impact.
3. The curvature in the object does not reflect natural erosion by the wind as it goes in different directions.

4. Its reflection of sunlight seems to be more radiant than any other object on the image.


So please let me state that I am not claiming this IS a UFO or whatever else.
I just wanted to share it and hopefully get some insight into it.

Nothing strange about it...its the Mars Rover Lander.

Well I think the subjects would be a little too microscopic to see in regular pictures.

But is it just me or does the shape in that image look nothing like the rover?

Because this is a pointless duplication of the original thread , by your logic its OK if we have several threads on the same topic ....whats the point of that .
If you had bothered to read the original thread that you linked to you would know that the picture is not of a Strange object on the surface of Mars but the spirit rover landing platform

The object in question is the lander for Spirit. You can see another image here of the region taken shortly after the rover landed.

Pure fantasy about any alien stuff here, me thinks.
